20/12/2013 14:25 | few more buyers again today and small tick up | tech
20/12/2013 12:47 | I can't imagine any tip sheets being all over BES for 2014, the risk is still too high and the reward not yet visible enough for those type of stock pickers. Once BES hits profitability then the tipsters will be all over it, but that might not be until BES advised, April 2014. It would be nice to get profitability earlier but I can wait as I am 99% sure it is coming based on the Tesco and Woolies deals plus internet sales. What would be a blockbuster is for BES to get a USA deal with someone like WalMart or an EU deal with someone like Carrefour, both are huge. | sueyou1
20/12/2013 08:58 | I agree this might be a hot one for 2014 A lot going on and cheap as chips | aim999
20/12/2013 07:43 | It is good to see that the drinks are easily available online. This is the future by the way. There are many possibilities which are all positive. I understand Redleg is increasing sharply in popularity. Redleg is a premium Rum brand and it will enter Supermarkets as that the price of the company would be on a multiple in excess of 10-20. Bruichladdich was sold on a multiple of 50. That was a whisky company and therefore much higher cost structure per litre and therefore lower margins. Distribution of the brands in the US will make significant difference. My expectations which are purely my own etc etc. Can see the price above 10p. once we have profit that gives more money to invest in better distribution (global) and increased marketing. That would lead to increase profits etc etc. Dons Gouldings experience is showing itself. He has 10mln shares so has a strong interest. In terms of price moves shorterm is just that it is the longer term picture that counts. I would imagine tip sheets will be all over the stock for 2014 bets. With the restricted supply and those that are tightly held. There will continue to be sharp movements. All good imo | berny3
19/12/2013 21:32 | All this with a market cap of £5m or so.... My guess get revenues to £13-£15m a year and £5m will be profit ..... Then on a multiple of 10-20 x will give us a market cap of £50-£100m10 to 20 bag is possibleAnything is possible .... Dream dreamGet drinking ;) | aim999
19/12/2013 21:28 | There could also be deals on the way .... Certainly a company like this on a low fixed cost base that gets a hike in volume @48% gross margin prints money as volumes increase Getting bigger wider distribution of red leg will be a game changing moment | aim999
19/12/2013 21:24 | I think the things driving this are -1) lower cost base2) higher margin3) increasing volumes4) HR stake building slowly5) greater awareness of new lines& most importantly6) profitability (we might be there now!)Fingers chart got this spot on - key date early jan & we might get that kick up we have been waiting for! | aim999
19/12/2013 20:34 | It's sometimes very tempting to over-read things into these price spikes - I am as guilty as anyone and, who knows, there could be a killer RNS tomorrow ... Fact is it doesn't take much to move these shares and at last the company has a better profile and a bit of quasi-coverage. As a multi-year holder, it's very nice to have some up-spikes to speculate over, as for a long time the shares did zip week-to-week, except steadily tank on old results "disappointments". To me there are 3 kickers - 1) Goulding's management experience and strategy shift (some short-term pain on revenues for long-term gain on profits); 2) Finally the right product mix and better margins (examples such as the Woolies deal are pretty compelling); 3) The unholy beating the shares had taken in the run-up to mid-2013. Time will tell but I firmly believe the company is doing the right things. Usual caveats etc. | altcell
