22/11/2013 14:21 | I haven't tried any myself, but the Blackwoods Gin flavour is supposed to be a class apart from the rest of the competition - hardly surprising since it originated in Scotland! :-) | doodlebug4
22/11/2013 14:16 | Moving up today on a nice little bowl - Christmas going well I suspect. CR | cockneyrebel
21/11/2013 21:15 | In here for a small punt, purely on the back of the product - I really rate it. Will it sell in huge volumes and make a profit, I don't know but I'm guessing enough consumers will share my view. | cash rich asset poor
21/11/2013 20:01 | Added a few yesterday myself, set a buy order last week at 1.3 and it wasn't filled. Yesterday I had three trades, all went through at the mid price of 1.25. Can't complain! Hopefully have some positvie action early next year. ATB | salonie

19/11/2013 19:26 | Also available at ASDA online shopping. | madmas
19/11/2013 16:36 | You can buy Redleg at the DrinksShop.com. Also I noticed the Blackwood Gin in a number of the larger Sainsburys supermarkets. Trying to do my best to stimulate further demand for the products! | charaxes1
19/11/2013 12:52 | Not really a fan of flavoured rum though I'd probably like RedLeg from what I've read. Surely it needs to be in the popular retail outlets right now in order to sell it in quantity. | shorecrab
16/11/2013 11:04 | The last couple of months has seen the share price consolidate. Hopefully this is setting up nicely to rise on the back of positive RNS. Christmas is coming and the Goose is getting fat! | madmas
13/11/2013 21:59 | Good idea Madmas, I will get a few more as well. ATB | salonie
13/11/2013 21:45 | Agree with your view - I have just sold MARL and will be buying £4K BES tomorrow. | madmas
13/11/2013 21:38 | The risk reward is good with BES at such a small mkt cap. Should be upwards from this level, IMHO! ATB | salonie
13/11/2013 20:59 | saloine, absolutely agree. It would be great to be able to find it on off sales in supermarket but going into Christmas how are you going to price it better off start the sale into end of spring and summer. That is my thoughts and I woud dhope to see it on the shelves into next year. Winter is not the time to start marketing it offsale. Absolutley brilliant product and all credit to those in charge as I think they are being extremely good with this and delivering the best value possible. Have to see whether promises of break even are true into next finacial year. I have extremely high hopes... | berny3
13/11/2013 20:24 | Hi Berny3, interesting comment above and I can see where you are coming from, to a point. I realise the supermarkets are all about volume at a lower margin, however they do make products accessible. I don't mind paying the extra for a quality product, spend my days selling on that principle. Main concern is where can I pick it up - off the shelf. I will by a few more on-line from the Whisky Club, for the Christmas period. However from an investors point of view, it would be good if BES could get it out there, a bit more. I am sure it will happen over time. ATB | salonie
13/11/2013 18:51 | Interesting comments on getting Redleg in the supermarkets. If possible probably worth while putting pressure on Sainsbury etc to stock it. My thought with a little bit of marketing background were as follows. Interested in other peoples thoughts on this but this is what my take on the brand is. Margins is what is improtant. Currently RedLeg is sold onsale and through the rumshacks etc. The margins on these sells will be high. The brand needs to pick up momentum before it is released wholesale offtrade. Otherwise it will have to compete with far cheaper rums and you will just get into a discount pricing war on the super market shelves. RedLeg has much more to it, it is a premium brand. It already after a short time has put together a great brand which will generate a larger and larger following. That following needs to get to a level so that Redleg Rum does not have to compete on price on the shelves of Sainsbury with jolly sailor etc... That would not allow the true value of Redleg to be brought out and would undermine the true value of the product. Redleg is an exceptional quality brand. It needs further establishment before it is released wholesale on the offtrade. All in my opion with a little bit of a marketing back ground.. | berny3
13/11/2013 18:31 | Hi chareaxes1 Yes it is very good, I would like to see it in some of the major supermarkets. ATB | salonie |
