Indeed, NickB. And I appologise for being short with you.
It's just that I have asked you many times to explain exactly what is so special about the codec and why the editor world class and you come back with accusations of lack of ambition...which is just not helpful.
You are the one with the knowledge and I wish you would share it with us, so, keep posting.

This is a big boy share. Like listening to a bunch of old women who have lost their filters at times this group. AGM is coming up soon to ask your questions and then make an informed decision. I am happy with the team that is in place. SS, yeah, maybe he is a bit socially inept, but he is still a genius. Many geniuses are this way. IM always said there are no guarantees. Anyone who has placed all their eggs in the birds basket and even though I expect it to hatch are nothing more than pure gamblers. We are gambling on a piece of IP a piece of Tech that could become best in class for many different genres from the new type of Creators through to Coorperate Businesses all over the world who need our product to move at the Pace they need to in keeping up with their competitors.Don't forget IM took us from 7p to 40p from Covid we know it won't take much. HNW individuals have moped up 17 odd million new shares. You telling me MV and SR did not participate in that considerably. Maybe that is another question for the AGM.

NickB, please keep posting. A lot of lurkers, myself included, value your input highly. We are lucky to have someone who thoroughly understands the product and where it sits in the marketplace. Without your input this woul be share chat board just like any other. Someone mentioned investors here of 10+ years standing. I think are a quite a few. I am one.

Well, it's two weeks to the AGM.

The goal was to reduce the full editor into a cheaper version. Heck, we already had onlinevideoeditor.com

SS has no shame. I think they'll be happy to talk about their great technical work and certainly, income is just something the plebs have to worry about.

Obvious questions.

Why is there no paid platform?
Why did MV etc. leave en masse?

I think the answer to the first is obvious. If they had a paid platform they'd have to disclose the income, i.e. £100 per month from all users. It would look so bad that they're clearly hiding from a paid launch.

I dont see a paid product coming until the Autumn ....and then between autumn and New Year they will go for it with marketing efforts... IMO

Now, with the summer holidays approaching, Olympics, Euro football,America Cup, etc etc ... I think they will give it a miss for now..

I dont think the new Chairperson will say much at the AGM except the usual words of excitement blah,blah

The Q&A needs to have some direct questions in order to drag out some definite answers

I see no reason why a creator would move from a professional editor to a prototype.

Apart from NickB, I would say we have zero active users. Roll on the AGM 😅

Washing Machine, you are the classic profile that would love for Blackbird to flop. That is why you remain here sniffing around. Not entirely convinced your full sell off was a good idea. You linger in the hope that the bird fails. If you have sold off, just move on. Nothing for you to see here.
