27/11/2019 11:00 | To think that 20 years ago SBS could see the future of all this is remarkable truly remarkable. | nickb
27/11/2019 10:58 | "Bloomberg" a monster cross-continent implementation wonder whether the client is procurring from a cloud provider "Let’s see what comes of my little prediction that they’ll sign up CNN within weeks" blackbird rapidly speeds up the process of publishing msg reduced their turnaround from 48 mniutes to three with blackbird hxxps://www.blackbir if bloomberg consistently get their content to market faster than the competition using blackbird the rest of the field will need to respond, somehow. | _m_k
27/11/2019 10:52 | SBS Sums it up! Stephen B. Streater @video4me The move to the cloud is unstoppable. And for video, that means @blackbirdcloud | nickb
27/11/2019 10:52 | I think that is referring to the Department of State deal? Back in October Blackbird won US Department of State video production contract. The contract, which is for one year but has a multi-year extension available, is for a "six-figure US dollar amount each year", the company said. | bonio10000
27/11/2019 10:52 | R107. Significant 5 year deal with Bloomberg. Get real mate. | cabi1

27/11/2019 10:44 | As usual , Bird have not given any figures . So , let’s not get too carried away ! Given their dire record of promising a lot and delivering nothing over twenty years i remain cautious . I never understand why they never give any projected figures . A way , let’s hope that they have finally turned the corner . All this wild talk of the shares going through the roof will only be justified on the back of hard cash coming in | richard107
27/11/2019 10:44 | Chris Totally see your point but I’m not here simply for short term cash generation and improved accounts. (As important as it is) I’m backing Blackbird to become an industry standard for Cloud Video if that happens serious money in the account will follow. | nickb
27/11/2019 10:25 | I’m not selling!!!! | cabi1
27/11/2019 10:22 | I agree NickB. We already know there’s a scramble for major media companies to adopt the cloud. That’s been the mainstay of all commentary in this sector all year. But how? The reason the Bloomberg deal is so encouraging is that it’s hard to imagine if it’s going to work for them (over any other provider in this market) why it wouldn’t also work for all the other major global news corporations? Correction - all other media corporations. IMO it’s a landmark deal. This multi-year commitment is a beacon for the rest to follow. | invest360

27/11/2019 10:14 | Nice chart hb, thanks for posting it. | astralvision
27/11/2019 10:08 | Chris That’s one way of looking at it but it’s through the optics of this one deal. The bigger picture is that BLACKBIRD is fast becoming a go to video solution in the industry and serious revenue should follow. Every significant Media company has to go Cloud so they will all be paying attention to this and what we offer. Snowball building of industry take up. We are chasing a very big prize here and that’s the optics I’m looking at. | nickb
27/11/2019 10:00 | This was a major step towards getting a re-rating of the shares but more is needed. The big advantage and hence a major attraction for investors of this deal is that it offers stability through to the medium term. If the RNS had simply called it a large deal we would know it was worth more than £1M but as it stands though it looks substantial no investor can know how it will affect the profitability of the company in the immediate future. Getting the company to break even in cash terms should cause a major change in market perceptions. Bottom line profits will reinforce that change. If the progress made this year continues it might not be too optimistic to hope for both to be achieved in H1 2020. | chriscallen
27/11/2019 09:50 | The prospects here look far higher than VRS in its graphene sector. Equivalent high would be 185p but this eventually may prove to be a low price. However, the company could be taken out by an American bidder very soon indeed. | noirua
27/11/2019 09:34 | Cabi - that was before they diluted the share base a ton. Thanks Aziz. | bonio10000
27/11/2019 09:31 | HB. It went from 15p to 42p in just under 3 weeks when we won the NBC/YouTube Olympics deal in 2012, so it’s possible. IMHO. | cabi1
27/11/2019 09:29 | That's the sort of chart analysis I like!Great announcement this morning. | astralvision
27/11/2019 09:25 | From a chart pov I'm inclined towards 40p rather than 20p. If momentum sets in we could see 40p by Feb. | horneblower |
