02/12/2003 21:12 | -->scribbler That's an easy one. Chance will be twice infinity of course! LOL If the stock bubbles in the morning this could be the reason:- Medtronic Applies to FDA for Drug-Eluting Stent Trial Cheers 2Bob | 2bob
27/11/2003 18:42 | 2BOB - Your chances will increase inifinitely if you buy a ticket. So how much will they increase if you buy two? | scribbler101

16/11/2003 13:19 | drago/2BOB spoke to my broker... they kindly gave me less shares, but no mention of the dividend - seems a bit fishy to me..!! | davidcod
14/11/2003 12:53 | -->davidcod Have you asked your broker or the registrars or the company secretary? -->drago From recent RNS "£17.6 million continues to be held in escrow pending conclusion of the litigation between the remaining parties. Upon the conclusion of that litigation and the release of the escrow account, Biocompatibles will then apply to the High Court for a further repayment to its shareholders of £11.1 million, the equivalent of up to approximately 29p per new ordinary share post consolidation. The precise amount will depend upon the actual number of new ordinary post consolidation shares issued at the time of the High Court application." | 2bob
14/11/2003 12:35 | david, i havn't checked. last time my broker wrote a wee letter to say what cash had come in and what the consolidation was and what the new nos of shares were. i thought there were more court cases to go through before the cash in escrow was released. | drago

13/11/2003 15:54 | -->drago Having seen the drug elution profile for ABT 578 (it comes off very fast)in a Medtronic presentation one wonders if the drug being used in the HCC trial will hang around long enough to do the job. A contolled slower elution might be in order along the lines of what Lombard Medical say they can do:- PEP™ Microspheres Lombard Medical has developed microspheres for embolisation therapy and believes it is possible to adapt PEP™ technology into programmable drug eluting microspheres for chemo-embolisation of malignant tumours. The technology will allow multiple drugs to be eluted at different rates by combining, for example, PEP™ 95 microspheres with drug A and PEP™ 90 microspheres with drug B. The PEP™ numbering system reflects the hydrophobic : hydrophilic ratio of the co-polymer which controls the elution profile of a given drug. | 2bob
13/11/2003 15:28 | does anyone know if there will be another share consolidation when the second half of the payout is given? | roogog

11/11/2003 20:26 | 2Bob I have only just troubled to follow your links in post 59. W o r r y i n g. I have held onto some BII since Lodger said sell! Now the press, inc Sh*res Mag seem to have a positive view of prospects, and I have seen no critical reference to Sir Richard other than yours. With shares held in a nominee account, I don't feel as well informed as I could be and I rarely exercise voting rights. But I do thank you, and others, for real contributions to this BB. Incidentally, why all the sells today - have others just noticed/considered the presence of Needham at BII? | graphit

23/10/2003 21:25 | No one getting excited about the deal with Terumowho sorry I mean Turumo? No sign of Angiotech yet picco. Have they been sent homeward empty handed, again? Cheers 2Bob | 2bob
15/10/2003 00:41 | -->Rayrac That must be the one I posted a link to in post 44 on 23rd September :-) -->piccolino Good to hear from you. I did wonder to myself when typing post 48 what ANPI would do with all that money. It has long been suspected that, considering the stable Jeremy Curnock Cook came from and the dark forces around him, they would engineer something from that quarter. What would it take to get Crispy to throw in the towel? Cheers 2Bob | 2bob |
