Seems to have done the trick though. Which is surprising given that Kirsty got the push from Flamingo for failing to manage overseas sales offices and taking the company to a £3m annual loss. She will fit in well here then.

Chimers,

His founding pay-off shareholding alone presumably keeps him on the board. One way or the other she will have to take a personal position on her company borrowing money from New World Oil and Gas even after Lidington and his board room colleagues had publicly acknowledged the connection with Kazakh money laundering (the so-called "legacy issue").

They just raised over a mill, can't raise any lower than the 3p par value. So regardless, they will be keen to get well above that level.

Here is something to ponder.

If a member of staff is committing fraud and theft from a company that member of staff can never take a holiday and they can never leave.
The second someone not involved takes over their duties while they are on holiday is the moment the scam/fraud/theft is discovered.

Companies where key members of staff are moved sideways instead of being sacked is an enormous red flag for me.

How about you?

Not exactly getting rid of him are they? Just moving him to the backbenches. He's still the founder, big shareholder, director and Bob Morton fan. And Kirsty looks to be a maleable enough replacement.

Lidington sacked and replaced by a woman sacked from her last job. This just gets worse with every RNS.
