04/4/2019 08:19 | Funny how I got shot down yday for suggesting theyd need to raise capital. They absolutely need capital to grow fast ahead of the inevitable competition. At least now its being entertained by those who actually engage their brains instead of shouting "fake news" or "deramper". I cant see why raising capital is seen as a bad thing unless your sole reason for being here is to pump and dump and you have no interest in the actual company itself. | phowdo
04/4/2019 08:15 | ....or even a premium if instis want in badly enough. It does happen. | flashheart
04/4/2019 08:15 | If there is a placing, it'll be a bun fight and most likely be got away at a premium such will be the demand for these. | bahiflyer
04/4/2019 08:14 | You never know with the interest in this stock any placing could be at a very small discount. | parob
04/4/2019 08:13 | Just topped up great report, I agree a placing must be on the cards the boys in the city are trying to get the price down. | parsons4
04/4/2019 08:12 | I did say that brings revenue generator Vs something like EVRH (which wasn't) would work against this company. Great longer term potential though for those willing to hold | the deacon
04/4/2019 08:06 | adil88, I don't understand what "split the shares heavily with a lower price bringing the share price down..." means. Raising money to expand and keep on top of technology is not at all negative, quite the reverse. I am sure than any raising will be oversubscribed hugely. It is the only way institutions can buy big numbers without going through the market. | stoaty1
04/4/2019 08:03 | I love this company but as I suspected the share price has become totally over blown on hot air! My fear was for a big spike & then crash down. Much prefer to see STEADY upward trend | bobby1904
04/4/2019 08:01 | Not sure about all of that, but interms of fundraises. There will be a set price, typically negotiated with institution/large investors. If this is lower it can see a drop to that price as people sell. Though if there is a clear long term up trend/advantage and if the management present it well (ie make the purpose/benefit of the fundraise clear) then it can have no effect at all. So a bit of underlying company strength to set the level and more about sentiment in the result.Splits I'm not sure, I imagine it's always a bitter pill of sorts | dparker86
04/4/2019 08:01 | placing soon. Burned over a million from sept to dec. means they are probably down to 1m cash now. Will need 3 to 4 million by summer to see through to 2020. | backtogo
04/4/2019 07:59 | - or more revenue delayed to second half... | global nomad
04/4/2019 07:58 | Adil, seems you got your/the last point completely misunderstood; they are not talking about splitting shares, they are talking about balance of revenue between H1 and H2 i.e. maybe they thought that revenue would be split 45%/55% across the halves but now think they maybe 35%/65%, meaning more second half revenue than they thought. ( the percentages are just for explanation ) | global nomad
04/4/2019 07:41 | 2Prismo, great minds think alike! I am sure many long term holders will add to avoid any dilution, I for one will definitely do so. | stoaty1
04/4/2019 07:38 | Could there be a placing in the offing given that revenues will be second-half weighted. They may need some more working capital for their expansion plans. Just a thought. Always place into strength is the motto. | 2prsimo
04/4/2019 07:38 | There is definitely going to be a capital raise in the next few months, which i welcome. I hope it will be a discounted offering to all shareholders, ie 20% discount, but imagine there will be a lot of institutions bidding to do it all. At least they will buy and hold. It may be the only way they(institutions), can get a reasonable stake without having to bid in the market. Either way, it will be a positive as Bids will then be funded to break even. | stoaty1
04/4/2019 07:28 | I take that final sentence to mean, 'things are really going to hot up in H2' | billyboychrisd
04/4/2019 07:28 | The likes of Google may at some stage take them out. | snoopy12
04/4/2019 07:22 | Donald Stewart, Chairman, said "I would like to welcome our new shareholders and to thank them for their support. The team has made great progress in the development of the Bidstack platform since completion of the RTO. These advances coupled with the high levels of interest in Bidstack's business model we are experiencing from games publishers, developers and other leading technology businesses all support the Directors' belief that we have a significant first mover advantage in the provision of dynamic native in-game advertising and that the business will generate highly significant amounts of advertising traffic. "In order to exploit this substantial opportunity, in the short term the Board intends to prioritise investment in technical developments which will place Bidstack in the best possible position to operate at significantly increased scale. "We believe this strategy will result in the business being well placed to meet market expectations for 2019 and will facilitate extensive growth in 2020. As a fast-growing business, we expect that revenues in 2019 will be significantly second half weighted with perhaps a more marked split than previously anticipated." | cottoner
04/4/2019 07:20 | "We are building out Bidstack to become the biggest media owner in the video games market. What does that mean? In short - if you wanted to advertise in a video game, you would come to us." excellent... | global nomad
04/4/2019 07:18 | James Draper, Chief Executive, said "The video gaming industry is experiencing remarkable growth. Recent announcements of streaming services will see the industry evolve even further now that tech giants like Google and Apple are investing heavily in this area. Streaming will allow gamers to access high resolution games without having to own a console or high spec PC, attracting an ever greater audience. "Streaming, virtual and augmented reality services - as well as the evolving business models towards subscriptions and free to play, make our net-new revenue offering enticing to game publishers and developers. Crucially, every game publisher we have spoken to welcomes our proposition. "We believe our business model is a win-win for developers, publishers and advertisers and will position Bidstack well to make the most of its first mover advantage in the provision of dynamic native in-game advertising. "Bidstack's strategic challenge is about speed and execution. Our technology continues to be developed by our highly skilled team in the UK and Riga. We are ensuring that the Company has the resources, connections and personnel required to maximise the considerable opportunity we find ourselves presented with. "I believe our business is very well positioned to exploit this growth opportunity and build a highly scalable native in-game advertising business that can carve out a significant position within the video game advertising world." | someuwin
03/4/2019 17:26 | Very much at the start hazl! | stoaty1
03/4/2019 16:59 | We ended very positively I agree stoaty . There were sure to have been some profit takers earlier after that rise. Great to have seen it relatively early. Though I think it might only be at the beginning of it's journey. | hazl
03/4/2019 16:35 | Another positive day on good volume, so far a great week. Very happy! | stoaty1 |
