16/8/2019 13:03 | 'It is important to stress that, at the very beginning, Fortnite did not have an easily accessible practice system. Training for a competitive environment, which we didn’t even know would exist, required coordination, strategy and planning. I believe that the silver-lining of not having the custom servers available to everyone was the reason the Fortnite community grew strong but also ventured beyond just players. There were kids managing Discord servers with thousands of people timing their entry into the game to maximize the chance of players ending up in the same lobby. The Discord servers had intentionally been set up to collect those who had taken the game from casual to competitive. Having 46 players from one pro Discord server end up in the same game was better than having none. It also meant that the servers came crashing down because the gamer client couldn’t handle the speed they used the in-game functions. It was a hilariously strange time where some of the strongest friendships in Fortnite were created. ' | hazl

16/8/2019 12:08 | 'We all saw the commercial possibilities but behind the mainstream success of Fortnite, a scene was taking shape across Discord servers and Twitter DMs. Those who sought to conquer the new Battle Royale arena were creating squads that would be pushing hours upon hours into becoming the most mechanically skilled contenders. THIS INDUSTRY HAS BECOME HUGE! | hazl

16/8/2019 11:25 | 'The London Stock Exchange suffered a technical glitch Friday that prevented investors from trading its biggest stocks for more than 90 minutes. The opening of the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 indexes was delayed by what the exchange described as a "trading services issue." While other parts of the market opened as usual, trading in FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 stocks did not begin until 9:40 a.m. in London' CNN | hazl

16/8/2019 10:22 | niggle Thanks for the advise. I hold no animosity towards any of them. All they are trying to do is protect their investment. However this does involve selling the company to new and existing shareholders via the bulletin boards without highlighting certain facts and risks. This is where you and I come in. | pwhite73
16/8/2019 10:20 | Thats how the scum in the city work. After a spike the bucket shop institutions move in with their planted posters and its all about shorting. The difference with the likes of Bidstack and TSI is that they never actually attack the company. Its institutional corruption with multiple bent brokers, nomads and spreadbetting companies all working together. One day ADVFN will not be allowed to have a single person with multiple accounts. Its not far away | aidenabettin

16/8/2019 09:59 | And Niggle, BIDS paid us 300-400% in increases so why wouldn’t we spend our time here? You should have got involved earlier. £20m was not overvalued :) you are preaching to people that couldn’t quite frankly give a toss. | moneygenxyz |
