throwingmuses - This was no negotiated transfer - no broker would put an organised/agreed cross through with such a spread albeit I do get the principal on the trade was very similar......

The turn (differential between buy and sell is 2.6p and thus a £29,900 turn in the price as it is called (commission in effect) - No clients would be happy with that amount charged.

The largest prints of the day:-

Time / date Buy / sell Volume Price Value
12:09 - 17/06 n/a 1198689 33.80p £405,156.88
13:10 - 17/06 n/a 1113030 36.40p £405,142.92
10:21 - 17/06 n/a 289000 36.00p £104,040.00
12:18 - 17/06 Sell 130000 34.14p £44,375.89
08:15 - 17/06 n/a 124284 35.07p £43,591.25

The biggest print was worked from the open and was a seller - I know as I chatted with the broker as he was ringing round sourcing buyers......

Good to actually see some institutional size orders as it marks a change in the type/style of ownership....

Explains the U on the daily chart, one sell, one buy. The value of both almost the same, at around 405k, some kind of negotiated transfer maybe? Don't know. Late trades substantially net buys overall, quite a few hefty ones today.

Last prints (bar a cross at mid) has 273,000 bought at the 34.5p level and zero sold - and the shares have gone weaker at the bid - now 33.5 to 34.5....

One particular market maker has a decent sized seller at the 34p level.

These meetings take months to bare fruit usually. However, JD has been having meetings for many months so it is quite possible that news could start coming through at any time.
We are undoubtedly entering an extremely exciting phase. I am very glad to be in, and big!

I think an rns this week would be more interesting. I get a bit tired of endless "Woohoo, it's going to be big!" hype. A nice, signed contract would be my preference. :)

Mark SK, I think £1 by month end, whilst not impossible, is a stretch to say the least. There would have to be a very good contract(s) win. With 2 weeks till month end not much time!
