Eye of the storm, all staying in their bunkers for now. IMO

JD's next announcement (RNS) will start it all up again! but I do believe it is probably off many radars considering the comms fiasco along with ridiculous and constantly irrelevant BB postings.

Hey ho! We still sit and wait for something official!

Girdz, to further your point, it seems strange that he would it post at all if he believed we were stuck at just these games.

Only problem I have with Adam fishers post is whilst on the face of it sounds great, at present BIDs only have the three games to place ads in. And like I've said before all three niche games and don't give exposure to the masses. .Also can't imagine many of our friends over the pond rushing to play FM20. .So all the while Adam states what BIds can do, it does feel a bit like flogging a dead horse. .Need games games games.

WSKR - I would expect that Bids are in talks or perhaps 'talking to' all major publishers.

It is yet to be seen whether these talks will get to signed contracts.

Fingers crossed.

It could be for a number of reasons but the likely reason is simply contractual.
Bidstack for whatever reason are legally bound to not name this agency.

Mentioned talking to rather than in talks with, which seems fairly clear on various points mentioned over the past year. AB having the most existing staff links within Bidstack. Wether AB are listening is a whole different matter.

Either way, I did appreciate your point straight away and updated the wording of my post this morning.

WSKR here is my comprehensive AB breadcrumb list which I posted 9000 posts ago

Would be great if you can add to the list...

-------------------------

ATVI key snippets of earning transcript and moneygenxyz’s comprehensive list of King breadcrumbs (toasted #nibble):

———————————————————-
Earnings snippets

“King continued to lead the way in mobile gaming, Candy Crush was again the number one grossing game on the US mobile app stores in the third quarter, and the team is hard at work on new features and content that we expect to drive further growth for the franchise in coming years.

Our in-game advertising initiatives delivered exceptional results again advertising net bookings within King almost double year-over-year and we're now starting to apply our capabilities in this area to Call of Duty mobile and certain other properties across the Company.”

“King's advertising business also continued to grow profitably, with net bookings almost doubling year-over-year, it's advertisers embrace the value proposition of a native video ad product in a safe environment. The business remains well on track to exceed 100 million in net bookings this fiscal year.”

———————————————————
Moneygenxyz’s comprehensive list of King breadcrumbs:

- Drum article with BIDS style logo banners promoted by Bids when published:

- 3rd party SDK integration specialty on King job ad ( )

- Moritz Natali (Bidstack Head of Products formerly head of King Products and then Activision Blizzard Media Product Manager.)

- Jason Parmar (Activision Blizzard Media EMEA sales lead) highly engaged with BIDS on social media and connected to Moritz, Nina and Lewis Hadley.

- Deviate conference yesterday with Activision Blizzard on the panel suggesting close ties.

- The ramp up in ad jobs at Activision Blizzard and JD’s comment two days ago “Creating an entirely new advertising category, that will - and has - created new roles and positions in companies outside of our own, to service this new revenue stream for the gaming and advertising industries.”

- Very clear strategic pivot publicly announced in results linked above to Candy Crush and COD in game advertising with plans to expand to the portfolio “Over time, we will be rolling out media integrations across the Activision Blizzard portfolio, prioritizing the platforms which provide the greatest opportunities for brands. This includes esports in coordination with our teams at Activision Blizzard Esports Leagues and MLG, other Activision mobile games, and still more opportunities further down the line across our console and PC platforms including Battle.net ( )

- Activision Blizzard Media website launched in 2018 - growing business with nascent tech and unestablished ad business knowledge or relationships.

And there you have it, my comprehensive list of breadcrumbs for a King tie-up. Would appreciate people adding to this list and keeping it in mind when researching.

The more we see of the potential ‘legacy’ before it’s known, the better.

WSKR - I agree that there is a strong likelihood of Bidstack being linked to Activision (Moritz Natalini ex King employee now Head of Bidstack product being number 1) but your statement sounded more certain than that of speculation.

Are you saying Bidstack are in talks? or may be in talks?

Your research is really good so keep it up but important to back strong statements such as "Bidstack are in talks with AB" with a source or research to help us differentiate reality vs conjecture.

Reality on this BB is already difficult to distinguish.

Adam Fisher, Head of US Sales at Bidstack, on LinkedIn:Very well said as all of this is true except for the programmatic piece. Through Bidstack's exclusive partnerships with our gaming publishers, we can reserve premium inventory for advertisers that can be executed programmatically through TTD and other DSP partners. keeping it's head above water today is fine by me.
Then when the announcement arrives, not only will we be the ones taking advantage of it, but also it will be better received on an up day.

Promotion following success as Vice President of Sales? Either way, interesting that this month Bidstack feel the need to put in place a Chief Revenue Officer.
