How marketers can sort through the hype and manage the AI customer experience.

The hype surrounding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for marketing applications is escalating. AI continues to be the buzzword du jour to describe a host of “intelligent” features aiming to augment the functions performed by marketers in their everyday jobs. Marketers are increasingly creating and managing AI-powered customer experiences, from real-time personalization to conversational voice interactions, at scale.

“AI has the potential to transform the practice of marketing in significant ways over the next decade-plus,” says Bryan Yeager, research director, Gartner for Marketers. “As hype intensifies, marketing leaders must exercise patience, persistence and long-term thinking in how they approach the use of AI.”

I think we need a list of the people involved again and their background.

A conscience?
Unlikely I would say.
Hmm lets look at the amazing hiring going on in the last year of some top-notch people.
Seriously, would they be involved unless they thought this firm was worthy?

They embarrassed the nomad with the last contract RNS. A clarification had to be issued the following day. Believe me this won't happen again.

Speak Later.

It's the Garner piece that's fascinating for me, and provides the key to timescales as well as an impressive (so far)timescale of events.
Of course things don't always work out completely as envisaged as new events ,laws and so on emerge.

I'll try and jot down a few of the relevant bits when time allows .

hazl24 - "Have you noticed how PWHITE is watching this 24/7?"

Not sure how I could be watching thes 24/7 when it only trades between 8 - 4.30 five days a week. I am certainly worried more decent hardworking people are caught in this spider's web.

There will be no more wild and misleading trading updates. I would hazard a guess that after the shenanigans and debacle of late last year the nomad would be taking a much tougher stance with this lot. JD sold shares ahead of a profits warning. That is the type of conduct for which nomads can resign.

The next trading update is officially not due until 30/06/2020. Any before that won't happen until at least the first quarter to 31/03/2020 is long gone.

Assuming there is positive news in the pipeline IMO BIDs need to release Trading Update first similar to last Jan. everything out in the open then.A flurry of positive news will then bury 2019 for good allowing BiDS to kick on. Regain positive sentiment and start to attract new investors who will look to the future and not be too fussed about the past. .Can't see the value in releasing FIFA news, for eg, and then come out a week later with RNS showing insignificant revenue from H2 2019. We already know that's the case so release it and be done with it
