06/12/2019 12:27 | JD had an escape clause with H1 results by saying they were second half weighted, the extent of which and reason for should obviously have been made clearer in advance, but for the full year he certainly has no such luxury. Yet still is very confident and drew much attention to just how confident. Is it just me, or would it not be completely insane to do that if he wasn't genuinely very confident? Far to much at stake to say such things and not follow through. | throwingmuses
06/12/2019 12:12 | It's not that they don't like BIDS. It's about regime change and to handover to the Israelis with Chinese and Russian support. All just to see JD move out.#pathetic | aidenabettin
06/12/2019 12:05 | chessmaster I feel much the same. It reminded me of a great article written by JAMES ANDERSON . This is powerful because I think it was written from the heart. 'James Anderson, joint manager of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, says that long-term stock market returns are dominated by the identification and compounding of a very small number of great companies.' | hazl
06/12/2019 11:48 | Personally, I'm keeping my holding, but feeling a little uncomfortable. In the last few months, I've had an overhaul of my investing strategy to focus more on confirmed breakouts/uptrends (more aligned to the Mark Minervini approach, for those that are familiar with him), so this is the last holding I have based on "expectation" and buying into the story. The silence can be taken two ways, and really it comes down to whether or not James Draper is a decent, trustworthy man, or not. On one hand, he has publicly stated that they will be keeping their heads down, not saying much, and focusing on delivery. So in that sense, the silence is justified. On the other hand, the H1 results were very disappointing, and you would expect that any announcements that would have a material impact on the business MUST be RNS'd.... which suggests nothing significant is happening. Not sure if such announcements have to be RNS'd within a certain time period? On the plus side, we can't ignore the fact that games are now released with Bidstack tech included. They WILL be generating revenue. How much is the big unknown. I'm keeping the faith. | chessmaster10
06/12/2019 11:48 | For one reason or another, there are an awful lot of people who don't like BIDS and don't want them to succeed. superg1's comments this morning re-enforce that. One side is going to be proven correct and the other side completely wrong. No half-way house here. I hate 50/50 bets! | 2prsimo

06/12/2019 11:14 | I agree peterhouse and spark should be struck off. This is the same guff that was posted on TSI prior to the investment in Brandshield (Israeli).Don't you realise how stupid you look and that some of us actually have a memory. To be a good liar you have to have a good memory. The gang are and have neither | aidenabettin
06/12/2019 11:07 | Part of my email to Spark after they refused to say what the April first half line meant. As you will see some of it has already now been proven and since the email Peterhouse have been dumped. Once the big miss is out, I'll report it all to the FCA naming the guys I emailed and spoke to. This was all obvious and the CEO misled the market (all on track) and the Nomad too. The good news is anyone losing money having invested on the comments has a fair chance of getting their money back through the legal route. So how does £300k convert to £1.9 mill H1 and £5.9, for the whole year. The answer is it doesn't, by some way, yet the market is oblivious. All that has appeared so far is one line in the YE results saying "we expect that revenues in 2019 will be significantly second half weighted with perhaps a more marked split than previously anticipated." For me that means first half revenue will not be hit. For others publicly stating it they think it means first half revenues are better than forecast and therefore so will 2nd half revenues, so they are investing imo on false information due to bad wording. This is typical company and Nomad games in my opinion to try the hide bad news. The company is nowhere near where the note expected it to be and therefore it naturally flows that the revenue will be nowhere near forecast along with much higher costs than forecast. That should all equate to fund raise to follow. Typical behaviour is the nominated advisor will blame the company and Peterhouse for the note. Then the share price is discounted to funds who lose trust in Bidstack leaving misled investors on high entry points losing money. | superg1

06/12/2019 10:55 | Drapers stated the objectives they are executing at speed, adverts live within fm20 and others, revenue rolling in. Contracts with Multiple partnerships that that cant disclose at this moment. Their not giving the game away to competitors, Big News coming! | hitec1
06/12/2019 10:49 | Amen Calum. Right, I'm leaving before I lose my temper - all they do is rile me up. Wake me up when there is an RNS. GLA. | moneygenxyz
06/12/2019 10:47 | Well done melody - only those who can look at these things objectively and not get too misty eyed on the blue sky possibilities can make decent returns I think. What has taken me by surprise is how quickly people have started valuing it on a revenue basis rather than the potential. It's like being a manger in the Premier League - unless you start winning straight away you have no hope. I suppose if there are enough TW clones and disciples who can inject doubts in shareholders then they can achieve their aims. Same with the politics today - doesn't matter if you spout complete utter rubbish and lies - you only have to get media attention and get enough idiots to believe you - it doesn't even matter if someone proves that you have lied - it's too late by then and everyone has moved on to the next story. | calum

06/12/2019 10:35 | Welcome back Jaknife. Do your worst... "REVENUES BLA BLA BLA" "LOL!" | moneygenxyz
06/12/2019 10:32 | Checking in again .....Calum I sold out in low 30s - since then I have bought back small amounts but then sold again at a loss as the price drifted down. My main concern here is that not only do I have no idea on how revenues are progressing (TU would be great).....but also I have no feel for the revenue model and how BIDS are cutting commercial deals. My other high risk holding VRS - I know that Neil is negotiating hard and this gives confidence. BIDS need to provide some visibility - until this happens I will find other places for my money even though I like the business and get the potential. | melody9999
