Bidstack (BIDS) – Profit from a whole new world of advertising
Bidstack (BIDS) – Profit from a whole new world of advertising

Michael TaylorSeptember 28, 2018 12:44 pm 0

Bidstack is a provider of in-game native advertising, which means it injects adverts that replicate the same visuals as the video game itself. These adverts can be inserted and automated across a multitude of gaming platforms. This game-changing (quite literally) technology opens up a world of virtual possibilities as not only can adverts add to the realism of the gameplay, but also provide brands with accessible and targeted content to specific demographics. Bidstack has first mover advantage in this arena, and will look to move quickly to secure key publishers to capitalise effectively.

eSports industry growth

Ten years ago, people would’ve laughed at anyone claiming video games are a sport. Now, whole teams exist who live together, play together, and have their own team nutritionists and coaches. Some of these teams (and even players) earn millions each year, with well over 2 billion people on the planet playing video games in some form on a regular basis. The industry has benefited from huge sponsorship already, but until now nobody has been able to produce mass-market adverts in a specific way.'

Haha. I’ll forgive you.

Investing at £25m was hard.

I’m a value investor and investing in this little company breeches many of my protocols but I like to back a high chance winner in an extremely attractive industry when I see one (this being the first).

I’ve been watching BIDS since it was valued at £1m 3 years ago and the progress has been astonishing. Thankfully the chances have tipped even more in our favour since I backed them.

If BIDS pulls this off and generates the kind of capital that other industry players are seeing, then pences really won’t matter and it may, just may, become a unicorn. If you are in for “free”, why wouldn’t that make you a little giddy.

I’ll aim to reign myself in when it gets too exciting though.

I didn't hazl - I prefer to hold good stocks (like this, PETS & Highland Gold) although I do trade Bitcoin & Alts daily.

The problem is that the novices, like moneygenxyz, who simply didn't go to school, get all giddy and post nonsense. I just try and be the voice of reason.

I’ve now unfiltered you to see your response.

Fair and I wouldn’t disagree but jumping on other people’s sandcastles because you want to build your own is a little unfair and won’t win you much respect.

There is absolutely no way to value this and speed or velocity of the price makes no difference. One could argue that a DCF of fictitious forecasts is the way forward another might use NBV. I’m sure the real value lies somewhere in between and therefore we may experience volatility.

All I’d suggest is for you to be a little quicker to the party and if you arrive late, sit quiet and patient until you feel ready to join in. PIs have enough on their plate without other PIs trashing a high quality company for their own sake.

Let’s put before behind us. I like a board with a variety of opinions and you seem to have tamed yourself since buying in. A reduction of “25-20p” comments would be a bonus.

P.S the party hasn’t started yet so get involved.

Did you take advantage of those higher prices or sell where you saw value?

By the way I think the market always gets excited by a stock that they see has huge potential so who knows where the price might be in 5 years time or if it gets bought out?
40P Might seem nothing then; conversely a different firm might get the edge.

I'm not into the business of talking it up or down on short term movements.
I've proved to myself I can trade I just want the real winners now.

Those who pay a subscription like me and you do not need to hide hazl - I have been on here for more than 20 years!

If a company is doing badly and potentially misleading the market like DEBS did and Gear4Music is possibly doing now I will trash them relentlessly. You only need to search my comments on them. I predicted DEBS would go bust in March 2017 - it did.

With BIDS they potentially have a great future but as ever, the share price has flown too high too quickly. Those Twitter comments are irresponsible IMHO.

Those that need more than one handle clearly show, they don't feel they are enough on their own.

I actually first bought ASOS at 60p lol! Made a lot on the way up but sold too early - would have been over 100 bagger! I've been in and out since but it takes some determination to just sit and hold for 14 years!
