I would expect it to start to rise into the close as Microsoft/Sony will be announcing their offering at the weekend and then we are expecting a podcast from James probably around Wednesday at a guess so I expect people to be taking a position based on that (especially those who managed to sell early this morning)

trt - how much are you short as you sound more and more desperate for someone who clearly sold out way to early and now realises, as many have, that you have to pay a lot more now to come back in. Sure it will have dips but they have always bounced strongly - we all know where this is heading eh?

Bit rampy that post. We haven't had the stunning news yet. When these big cloud gaming providers announce that Bids will be providing the ad media for their platforms, then I'll get excited. Good thing is we don't have too long to wait. James Draper in the last podcast said that he was hoping to have something juicy to announce late summer so I take him at his word and until then there's still risks here.

This news is totally game changing having Bidstack involved in Google Stadia advertising through Grid and Football manager.. Recap on why Google Stadia is so significant...

Why Google Stadia is simply stunning news for Bidstacks proposition:

First being that it will open up Gaming to multiple times the end users. People will be able to play high fidelity games from any device no longer having to own a £400 console or £2k gaming PC. You will soon be able to stream games directly from a TV screen with little to no processing power as the computing will be done in the cloud. Infrastructure already in place here, everyone has a TV in their front room already. Add in India, China and poorer markets, this will unlock gaming to these arguably much larger markets than US/Europe as well.

Second reason why Google Stadia is HUGE for Bidstack is the secondary Youtube video watching audience. Even if you are watching a game on youtube the adverts served by Bidstack in that Youtube video will be able to change in real time to suit that specific viewer also. James stated Ad impressions in an already colossal growing market could go up as much as 300x. THREE HUNDRED TIMES the impressions = 300 times the revenues.

Bearing in mind Football Manager generated $300k revenue for Bidstack in just 3 months on a totally new sales team for the in game native adds.... now being on Google Stadia this is *Significant*increase in revenues through reach and impressions.

Third reason for why this shift to gaming steaming is so game changing for where Bidstack is placed right now is that the whole business model around streaming places huge revenue emphasis on advertising. Whereas before the traditional model was just an upfront payment for the game (and that’s it), the streaming model requires monthly payments and primarily advertising to monetise it. Well in walks Bidstack as a first mover in game native.. phenomenal opportunity. (yes mobile free to play gaming already uses this model).

This is just the start too! We have E3 coming next week where Microsoft / Sony will be making their announcement, I wonder if Bidstack games will feature ;)

That's what the bids crew are at E3 for. To sign up as many developers that will have them. EA Sports would be a massive coup as would any of the big developers. Fingers crossed the heavyweight advisory board are at their most persuasive.

Has anyone looked at any of the other games on Stadia to see if they would be a good fit for BIDS type ads?

I see NBA 2K is one of the Stadia games and would be the perfect fit for someone like BIDS especially as there seems to be a bit of a backlash in the way they have shoehorned ads into the rest of the game:

This Sunday another big day for BIDSMicrosoft are set to announce their XCloud Gaming platform this Sunday 9th June.The battle rages between tech giants to win in the Cloud Gaming revolution.Amazon are yet to announce. Tencent?@bidstack benefit from all platforms with vast scale of increased play.
