Not yet shown up for me, should be in by the end of the month though, last year was automatic, but the previous year I had to chase them.

Got paid the dividend today so that was nice. Have sold everything here now but might look to buy back next year if the company keeps on paying a circ. 20% dividend.

Am surprised no one has sold here yet....the stock is down nearly 20% in Dhaka....But then the GDR's were already undervalued by some way.

However, not so much now.

1st Quarter results out and sales up 33% as well again. This company just seems to ignore what's happening around the rest of the world.

Heavy Director buying as well before the dividend payment. It all suggests the GDR price over here is still heavily undervalued. The Stock in Dhaka remains around 90 bht as well.

We should be up in the Mid 30's at least but the markets in general are probably holding this back.

ooh results. is that 33% up on gross profit compared to last year?! 52p NAV, or 43p after upcoming stock divi dilution? i love my generics :)

Return from the Dhaka stock exchange on 10/05/2012, which seems to have been missed. Seems a better approach than report director buying after it's taken place.

The Divi will have to be approved at the AGM on the 30th June and will not get paid (if approved) until at least a month after that so will be sometime in August before it gets paid. My understanding is if you hold on the 21st you will get the dividend.

With the GDR's still undervalued compared to the stock in Dhaka, I'm not sure what affect the Divi payment will have on the GDR price over here but can't see it replicating the share price movement in Dhaka like for like.

won't get the divi for a few weeks after. that's just the record date. can i asks?....if you hold till the day after the record date, then sell, does that mean you still get the divi? am i being a divi lol?

Results have now been published on the website for 2011 and what strikes me is the underlying business is actually growing at a much faster rate than the profit after tax suggests. The issue this year was the final tax amount paid was much higher than last year.

Current tax was 128% higher than last year and there was also a provision for an extra 41m Takas in tax payments which there wasn't in 2010.

Also looks like the company have a little side business going on in the investment world as their short term investments made 18% interest in 2011 with their group company.

That's many times more than you would get from leaving it in the bank!!

Should hopefully hit the mid 30's by the end of the week here with the divi due on Monday

Pretty impressive results in the current climate. This company seem to have their finger on the pulse with 10 new products in the first quarter already!

They have also started exporting to Thailand, probably helped by the floods of last year. The Q1 numbers will be an interesting read and hopefully they follow soon.

It's odd how the results have yet to go up on the website and have yet to be released in Dhaka? or am I missing something?

-- Profit before tax increased 23.23% to BDT 1677.85 million (GBP12.6 million). (2010: BDT 1361.53 million; GBP11.4 million)

-- EPS rose by 13.88% to BDT 4.76 (3.57p). (2010: BDT 4.18; 3.49p)
