                          RE: Change of Administrator

The Directors of Beta Viet Nam Fund Limited (the "Company") announce that with
effect from 1st May 2002 the administration agreement with Beta Corporate
Services Limited (BCS) has been terminated, during BCS's term as administrator
all administration duties were delegated to Bachmann Asset Management Limited
under a separate agreement.

Bachmann Asset Management have now been appointed by the company as
administrator under a new agreement
