Oil Prices and the American recovery
Oil Prices and the American recovery
Jim Rogers : We are going to have a slowdown. Such is the staggering debt that America has, it has caused more and more of a drag on our economy. I would also point out to you that every four to six years we've had an economic slowdown in the U.S., since the beginning of time, so by 2012, 2013, 2014, we are well overdue for an economic slowdown for whatever reason. Whether it's caused by high oil or what, we're going to have a slowdown in the foreseeable future. - in www.businessinsider.com

Jim Rogers started trading the stock market with $600 in 1968.In 1973 he formed the Quantum Fund with the legendary investor George Soros before retiring, a multi millionaire at the age of 37. Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.

Oil Price : Whats Driving The Rise in Oil Prices ?
Oil Price : Whats Driving The Rise in Oil Prices ?
Jim Rogers : Iran obviously, is one thing, but another is in the U.S. it's the infrastructure problem. We have oil but it's in the wrong places. On the east coast, they use imported oil, and imported oil is higher because of Iran. And it comes from Europe. North Sea production is in decline. There are supply-demand reasons that oil prices are high in many parts of the world. And known reserves of oil are in decline worldwide. And the IEA is going around telling people that known reserves are in a steady decline and we're going to have a huge problem in a decade or two, a gigantic problem, unless somebody finds a lot of oil very quickly. So underneath the supply-demand, shorter term it's infrastructure and Iran probably. - in www.businessinsider.com

Matt Taibbi: Bank of America is a "raging hurricane of theft and fraud"

There are two things every American needs to know about Bank of America.

The first is that it's corrupt. This bank has systematically defrauded almost everyone with whom it has a significant business relationship, cheating investors, insurers, homeowners, shareholders, depositors, and the state. It is a giant, raging hurricane of theft and fraud, spinning its way through America and leaving a massive trail of wiped-out retirees and foreclosed-upon families in its wake.

Canadian government "ready to talk" about Iceland adopting our currency?

Iceland and the Canadian dollar

In a recent Gallup poll, seven out of ten Icelanders have stated a preference to abandon their currency to adopt another, and the most favoured choice was the Canadian dollar, outscoring the US dollar, the euro and the Norwegian krone. This is favoured due to Canada's close northern geography and similar resource based economy, in addition to its relative economic stability.[21] The Canadian ambassador to Iceland also said that Iceland could adopt the currency, however the Canadian government later reversed this decision

The Schiff Machine

You have probably seen Peter Schiff on television, not once but many times. Among the legions of indistinguishable talking heads out there, he stands out. He makes sense. He draws attention to reality. He is disregarding of the opinion conventions that prevail on the financial news networks and just comes right out and says what few others are willing to say. He gets away with it because he makes sense, is super articulate, and is aggressive in getting his message out. Even if you don't watch television (I don't, not much), he has his own radio show, Youtube network, blog, social media accounts, and much more. You could probably spend a good part of your day living alongside the mind of Schiff and still not hear it all.

Tomorrow Google's new misnamed "privacy policy" goes into effect. Google euphemistically calls this "treating you as one user". Anything you view on Youtube, mail via Gmail or search on Google's search engine will be compiled to make a profile of you.

This change will be retroactive, meaning anything you've already viewed or searched will be included in this compilation of personal data.

It's a good idea to clean up your history today. Otherwise it will live on infinitely in Google's files.

First, clear your Google search history using these easy STEPS to erase your searches. Even if you've cleared the cache in your computer, Google still has this data until you erase it.

Next, clear you Youtube viewing history. This article will show you how.
