Posted at 16/2/2024 10:11 by gb904150 How is it that BEM have achieved so little over a period of 25 years and yet are still supported by investors? Who keeps stumping up the money?! A mystery to me. |

Posted at 01/12/2020 21:57 by ianpuddifoot I am pretty confident they are building up quite a diverse portfolio have taken up my full allocation in there open offer and a 1k more not sure I will get them all as Swede's seem to like this company seems to be out of favour with UK investors, freeish money as come from top slicing GGP 3 times. |
Posted at 24/6/2020 09:40 by anley It looks a better bet now than a few years ago.I was one of the original investors at 1p and bought again at 5p and then sold them all at 20p only to see them rise to over 70p a year later and that is when all the trouble started. I have followed the company ever since and I am thinking of putting my original investment back in again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, |

Posted at 07/11/2018 15:40 by andrea152 I think, following KB's little interview today on the Kosovan M&A project that many of the rose-tinted spectacle brigade amongst BEM investors, have finally realised that Kallak is going to be sold to a Swedish Co, for not much money and also that Finnish Graphite suddenly isn't looking quite as rosy (or black) as it was 6 months ago.Probably best to wind the company up when they get the cheque from LKAB, and pay shareholders out - but I very much doubt that will happen ! IMHO. DYOR. |
Posted at 30/7/2018 12:59 by anley Are you IanPuddifoot........For me with no shares all I am trying to do is protect the small investor by telling posters on the BB just what the real truth is. BEM should be shut down until its fate has been sealed by the Swedish government. However, this may take some time so keep the quote and no one draws any wages and so no spend on expenses. It is possibly one of the biggest AIM scandles what is happening to BEM but I have been warning the BB what is happening time and time again. |
Posted at 16/5/2018 09:23 by anley Well IanP.........look and read out aload what you said in your 157 post when the shares were 20% higher..........did you really consider what you said?Today we have the issue which I forcast yesterday and all it does is to help pay for JB fees and for the business to squander capital on GRAPHITE prospecting. I have warned everyone who reads this BB to do there research in to just what Graphite can be used for once it has been made in to high quality Graphene. There are some 300 so called manufactures around the world claiming to make quality graphene. Over 90% are unable to do this with the result that there are only one or two who can and I have mentioned one of them on the BB. The question is a simple one: What is the quality and who will buy the rocks and then how can it be used? So where is the profit for BEM - mining - selling it to a third party who may not have the ISO certification and therefore is unable to buy the rocks or should BEM pull out and do nothing more and save its capital. Now have a read ......The upcoming General Election in Sweden may delay a decision on the Exploitation Concession, as in my experience, political elections in any country affect a permitting process, often causing delays. That is what has just been said by the BEM director. Yet again another day which will mean over a 4 year wait and with no one really wanting the iron ore. Keep in mind that even if the licenses were granted where would BEM get its mining capital from and I still think that one day someone will come along and pick the asset up for a million or two............. So the shares are in my view over valued.......say 2.5p for the quotes and now controlled by Swedish investors........... |
Posted at 06/12/2017 11:33 by anley Investing is a hard game Steeplejack and you have brought family in to this which is wrong but that is OK with me but has clowded your vision.I first spotted that something was wrong when Budge came on board and got rid of everyone who had been involved before the removal of the second CEO. I wont go in to that except to say that he thought he was the great miner who would be able see that BEM became a great mining business...........h I do not have a short position as in 50 years of investing I have never been short but as a former shareholder I do like to keep an eye open just in the case. I am not bothered to shout on the LSE site but thanks for thinking of that. |
Posted at 04/12/2017 14:08 by anley But you have to agree I have been right all along with BEM and I mean from 1p to 60p and now going into the hands of the Swedish investors.Perhaps you are a stale bull not being able to make the SELL decision? |
