13/12/2018 11:07 | Sorry Ilovefrogs, I don't yunderstand. Why would anyone build a holding in a Company just because somebody else wants to sell? | murdo mcsponge
13/12/2018 10:27 | Murdo - it's only building the stake because Woodford wanted to sell. | ilovefrogs
13/12/2018 10:05 | the share price has done nothing much since February.... At least it hasn't tanked like some of my other stocks! | bsharman3
13/12/2018 08:41 | It's strange that the share price is dropping at the same time as an organisation is building a substantial holding in the Company. | murdo mcsponge
10/12/2018 18:29 | Cross trades, funny how they always list the buyer first not the seller! It's almost like they let the seller leave the scene of the crime. | getscenic
10/12/2018 17:52 | As suspected, the seller was Woodford. What a complete mess of things he's made since leaving INVESCO - nob!! | ilovefrogs
07/12/2018 16:28 | Nope, but Ferd is the buyer. We haven't seen the RNS for the seller yet. | ilovefrogs
07/12/2018 16:13 | Ferd AS, Norway. Is that "Woodford"? | murdo mcsponge
07/12/2018 16:12 | Ferd AS, Norway. Is that "Woodford"? | murdo mcsponge

07/12/2018 13:51 | Got to be Woodford... | edwardt
07/12/2018 12:46 | Expect an RNS shortly which will reveal all! (Woodford throwing in the towel perhaps....?) | ilovefrogs
07/12/2018 12:35 | Over 45 million shares cross The MArket - circa 8.6% of float. What's that all about? | murdo mcsponge
07/12/2018 12:33 | 46.5 million shares cross the Market, approx 8% plus. What's that all about? | murdo mcsponge
09/11/2018 13:31 | No, I'm not a bean counter, no offence taken.... I agree that BMK are becoming an industry yardstick, so to speak, & are going in the right direction. However, as the E.D. note c/o edmonda shows, there's a lag in actual financial performance compared to operational success. Meanwhile, it's an ebitda-safe LTBH, not a high risk / high reward stock. Being a greedy bar steward, and in a hurry to make some cash for a retirement project, I'm keeping an eye on this as there could be a buy point when the figures reflect the company's performance in the field (or water, as the case may be!). IMO that could be a year or two away, & who knows what might happen to Brexit GB between now & then - I've just unwittingly given this a "safer stock" label, as BMK trade internationally. | napoleon 14th
09/11/2018 11:29 | Good find edmonda. I like their valuation. | murdo mcsponge
09/11/2018 09:40 | I’m not an accountant but figures are always welcomed As they help to back up the story. I agree that as a company and an organisation they look like a great long-term hold and I certainly won’t be selling any of my initial investment other than top slicing. This is my 2nd largest holding with IQE being the largest which I believe is a similar growth company to BMK. Looking at buying some more BMK shares as I do believe they will have a good run up until results. | btfd497
09/11/2018 09:35 | after this week's positive FY trading update, ED research just published that adjusts forecasts for the outlook and sees a resultant rise in fair value for the shares. Note freely accessible here: | edmonda
08/11/2018 10:04 | btfd497 You and Napoleon must be accountants. Most accountants (my son’s one) can only see the figures and miss the part of the story they don’t convey. As far as I am concerned the main part of the story is what the Company is doing and how it is doing it. Surely you can see what a powerful and relevant organisation and structure the Company has put together - in the fastest expanding agribusiness in the World! To me, the numbers are almost irrelevant at this point, other than to show that things are going in the right direction – which I firmly believe they are. In my personal opinion, this a long term “keeper” | murdo mcsponge
07/11/2018 23:12 | I am debating adding some more to my portfolio after the positive results. I believe the share will have some more gains from now until Jan 24th. However will top slice if it starts to rise too quickly like it did last year (Mistake I’m not going to make again). I do agree though that they need some numbers to back their story up now. | btfd497
07/11/2018 12:59 | Woodford unloading here? Would explain the odd moves despite the "good" news. Should have held off topping up first thing - Hopefully will see a decent chunk sold today from him, & picked up by the Nowegians? Let's hope so. Results: They give an adjusted EBITDA but no pre-tax profit figure, which suggests to me they're only marginally profitable - if that. Happy to be corrected though I used to have some 3 or 4 years ago & did OKish, but I can't help but be wary about this share being more about the story and the dreams than the figures? So, I'm still just watching. To be fair, that was the accusation at ETO which 4 bagged for me, only to add 50% after I sold! Yer pays yer murny etc....... GLA. | napoleon 14th |
