Covered cpi +7.5 - early I think. I reckon a close down here puts it in very attractive short mode but would rather play it intraday.

Lodger - Keep your eye on PHS -Peterhouse Group but not just yet. Results were ok but big share run up was not justified dont like its exposure to telcos Wait for a fall off 3.90 before going short reasonable spread. Happy Hunting!

matt - ta, I'm loking to short ADN from above support, assuming it goes through, out for 0 if it bounces. My recent run of success is well deserved I reckon after going nowhere in particular for the last few months - things just weren't doing what they were supposed to be! Also learning to get out quicker when I've had a good run to lock in the profits - sometimes its better to keep moral up and lock in gains rather than risk swingbacks getting you down.

FIB was a case in point, cascading shorts, first sign of a bounce after a good fall I was out. Maybe wrongly, but lots of profit locked in and I'm feeling good. At the moment that's more important to me than the money itself.

Hope your trading is doing well too. Any good ones lately?

richgit69, that's very precise! I reversed my FTSE short to a long position on Friday and am hoping for a little more of a bounce. I think like most people here that we could see it trading much lower soon but why not try and make some money in between?!! Hopefully the US will recover somewhat dragging us up too.

Re JRVS _ I am long (ha ha kept that quiet!) since I posted about 2 weeks ago! Have been shorting as well - but my hubby reckons they will go up (which is why I got them in the first place!)

watching it early in the week and see what happens.

I feel it should bounce.

I haven't closed my put options though, because on the small chance it tanks the returns would be fantastic.

I'm probably a mug punter though.

I'm much less bearish fundamentally than I was a fortnight ago, but technically still short. timing the bottom I suppose is key ( when to close and reverse).

like the lack of % applied to "just tanking" - personally I have my money on a brief recovery - a bounce.

Whoopsie. Course dates are on www.glomtc.com but the next Limpy/Bullie courses are July 8th and 9th and Croc is holding a live workshop on 10th July..
