ppowescourt - sorry for not catching this earlier and replying

Well done for succeeding in putting this into an ISA (I tried but failed! - but as my enthusiasm for this stock remains I may try again).

Have a look at the brilliant IAIM thread by TomL, who actually lists AIM stocks which are PEP/ISAble by dint of having a full listing elsewhere. There is no official list, but he has compiled an unofficial one.

I agree with you on the importance of patience with companies such as this. I bailed out of AFE recently to free up some cash only to watch it virtually double in a few days.

Just picked this up at the Mercator bb: (see thread leader Sweet Cherry Pie's introduction)

A director of BMG by the name of Paul Loundan/Loudan is also chairman of NZ/Australian gold/copper explorer, or the other way around.

Also any confirmation of BMG news regarding new shares being admitted by Dec. first ? a bit surprised by no follow-up!

I remember you by your earlier post dated 19th Oct. because I bought in that same day prior to checking into this bb and read your post No. 11.

I argued with Comdirect that this is a Canadian stock and fully listed in Toronto and to allow me to buy into my ISA. They consented and asked me to phone-trade after 3p.m. when Toronto opens. Is this the dual listing you are referring to?

Remember this is an exploration company, not a speciality investment outfit. Patience is needed now that the estimates can be calculated based on good results shown up. Other similar explorers like CDN took a much longer time to even get to this stage. I am betting on the strength and sizes of find embedded in this VIRGIN location which I know there is gold. Let your money go to sleep here for huge gains through steady time.

For faster turnover, go into RAB which has holdings in almost all the hottest mining and oil tiddlers

This is an AIM stock and not allowed into ISAs - or are you saying this is an exception? (some are eligible due to double listings, eg GFM)

Patience, that's all.

Buy BMG into your ISA acct now.

And some bought at 31p (including myself) - Im not sure what point your trying to make, my post 53 was not intended to provoke.

Those who bought at 21-23p a few weeks ago could have made a 40+% profit had they sold day before yesterday. Some bought at even lower levels when listing began only recently.

Although not much movements very recently; but during last week, at near to closing times, many lots of 250,000 buys went through. Someone is accumulating at the 31p level.

Papua New Guinea, here we have safely landed on your virgin good earth.

Ah many thanks unionhall - me thinks I need to see what TSX is all about - I had assumed that the Ventures Exchange was similar to our own Ofex and that there would be an associated listing. But as you say it appears not and the full value of the company is in the UK AIM listing.

Not so - this is an extract from TSX today - agrees with the recent RNS.

Pauline thanks... (an early morning girl !)

I would be interested to know what the Market cap of this company is, it seems to be listed on several exchanges and finding the number of shares issued on each is proving difficult. It would put things into perspective for me - has anyone here already done this calculation ? I must admit I don't like all the name changes but Im sure there must be a good reason for it. The share price graph looks good, but I suspect it has run out of steam for a while and will probably bob about until a significant announcement. I bought in about a week ago, I was told the management were excellent at eeking out value from mines/drilling etc, I look forward to more gold / diamond discoveries.

I chose to invest in BMG mainly based on the Woodlark gold project alone.

The alluvial diamonds (no digging!) which came up firstly with such a stunning find in quality and quantities is a huge on-going bonus with the shares needing to be re-rated progressively.

Hang on here; we're just beginning!

BMG will, in steady time, reach a four-fold rise easily, IMHO.

Please note the main difference between the likes of BMG-type of cos and the speciality finance-type. The former is involved with actual exploration which involves much physical field management etc., while the latter type are moneybags who can pick and choose the best regional going companies.

Therefore, exploration types have a higher chance of success when in-the-main-experienced Canadian and/or Aussie cos are involved; the speciality finance types need to have directors who are knowledgeable, reputable and have good noses.

There are currently a large number of UK based resources cos born just to pick the investing.

I am a fundamentals orientated investor and leave the calculatory tasks to other informed persons who can be found on the bbs here.

BMG has limitless upside potential ; but a bit slow on the public being aware of it. So far.

Good morning to you.

Helpaargh and Mikkydhu

Remember what I said about these Java and Indonesia locations earlier? There's plenty unexplored acreage clustered among those island groups.

Please, if you wish, we can communicate by emails on issues other than BMG as i have problem with the calculatory and business side of these mining and oil companies.

Today, bright and early at 8.00a.m., I rung my broker to buy 50k of AST at ask. By closing time, AST went up 400%.

Cheers and regards
