I've heard a rumour that Gordon Brown is intending to tax flatulence in his forthcoming Budget.This new 'green' tax will weigh heaviest on MPs, but they'll be able to reclaim the tax by using their Parliamentary allowances.

I remember Ferrum, which a far eastern consortium were going to turn into the next big technological wonder - wonder what happened? It became Digital Sport and then Base Group.

The founders apparently were a man and wife called Ena and Ronald Heckmondwike, from Blackburn originally. Or was it Bracknell? Anyway, relatives, it seems, of VERY QUICK.

3 to 4 months is not unusual for this kind of transaction.


However I have a great piece of news. The company that is backing into BS. is a new start-up from Texas called Enron. A very good company apparently but a bloody funny name. Still I expect we'll get used to it.
