Anyone who believes Trentjones is extremely naive. We may well be heading for an RTO but, if we are, TJ knows nothing about it.

FLC - You'd be hard pressed to buy a stick of rock for five pounds, so why do you value your stick of rock so lowly?

I doubt it affects Base. The only thing they've avoided is making profits and talking to shareholders. With £20k in the bank and 800m+ shares in issue any RTO will involve a consolidation so my 4m holding will probably end up as 40 shares worth £200. I'm not bitter, just disappointed. We can only live in hope.

There was an article in the Telegraph this morning about a R of R investigation into cash shells re. tax avoidance issue - not sure if it would affect Base Group?

There've been too many rumours and not enough facts over the years. Before any RTO is announced,I'd expect to see a high turnover of shares.
