04/1/2015 11:40 | Question is, do you think the project will be a success? If it is then what will happen to the share price over the coming months and years? We are where we are because people do not believe they can get $1.1 billion. What would the market think if they only had to raise less than $100million. What if they go to Steel , what if they have an OPEX with credit sub $100 and REBAR goes for over $600/t Would the market believe then, would it believe if an MOU is signed with one of the Chinese outfits in competition for the construction of the project ? Will it believe when the cash is raised to pay for it or will it only believe years down the line when the first product is produced. Like Pete says when the market believes IMO this will rocket but the question is what will make it believe. Let's hope we soon find out especially before the AGM!!!! Tickets and hotel booked!!! | tuckman
04/1/2015 10:43 | Not sure about those gains over a few days Pete but getting to double figures again would be a start. Bao is an embarrassing word in my home so I only talk about it if asked and even then it's very brief. | 6kenny
04/1/2015 10:41 | Yea Kenny u said before Me too - my girlfriend cannot understand that mentality tho. What a difference the slightest whiff of 'outside interest' would make. Beyond doubt it would quintuple in a few days. | pete_bain
04/1/2015 10:11 | I have mentally written off my investment so I am here until we either make it big or go bust. | 6kenny

03/1/2015 15:19 | Maybe he didn't choose to leave kbrook? My view is, he was brought in to facilitate access to Indian potential partners. Now we seem to be exclusively focussed on China, maybe there was no role for him? Just looking back on the 2013 results, the unused ELF at that time was over £13m and, as far as I can see, we haven't drawn on it since. AMED are obviously keen to keep their %age @35.4% by funding as required to stop any further dilution at these low prices. So, imo, we should be grateful for that major supportive shareholder and, as well as stopping dilution, they will be giving Ben confidence in his discussions with potential partners. | pensioner2
03/1/2015 15:00 | Not yet, latest estimate two weeks. Not in a rush as I won't be using it till probably March, don't want to get it dirty! | kbrook
03/1/2015 14:57 | Not a bad thing to trim the wage bill. Did your bike arrive? | 6kenny
03/1/2015 14:54 | What are views on the departure of Dr Kaul, he didn't seem to do very much but why would he choose to leave now? There were a couple of biggish sells after the news so I wonder if it spooked a few. At least we started 2015 with a blue day, first of many I hope. | kbrook
02/1/2015 16:28 | Kb,,lol, he certainly didn't do much with regards to the sp,,hopefully we can move on....happy new year to all.. | jedad
02/1/2015 16:22 | IDMBAO RNS Number : 2088B Baobab Resources PLC 02 January 2015 BAOBAB RESOURCES PLC RESIGNATION OF NON-EXEC DIRECTOR 2 January 2015 Baobab Resources plc announces the resignation of Dr. Mohan Kaul with effect from 1 January 2015 due to other commitments. Jeremy Dowler, Chairman of Baobab Resources plc commented "The Board wishes to extend its thanks to Mohan for his contribution to the development of Baobab and wishes him well for his future endeavours. The Company will commence a search for a suitable new Non-executive director who will be able to add value as the Company works towards the finalisation of its Definitive Feasibility Study for the Tete Project. ENQUIRIES ____________________ The point of having him was to open doors in India imo. If we are concentrating on opening doors in China, then he would not be as much use there. Let's see if we find (or, even, need) a Dr Fu Man Chu. | pensioner2
02/1/2015 16:14 | Bye bye Dr Kaul.... I'd like to say you will be missed. | kbrook |
