29/5/2018 07:34 | yep binary, if BTC breaches the years low, next support is 5K. | random
25/5/2018 11:38 | I'm not too fussed with charts for the alts. If BTC rallies they follow, at least from the lows. BTC trendline support is circa 6800. I think anywhere at current levels is a good long entry, and IF the trendline goes longs are toast. Pretty binary scenario imo. | suffersnofools
24/5/2018 12:58 | xrp measured move down does not look complete yet ... got caught with coin that's been slow to sync wallets for lol ... a bit more of this wave down is expected once the inevitable short term bounces play out .... (eth already has an extended wave 3 down ... btc is somewhat closer to target, ltc ... more to fall ... it's chaos out there!) | random
24/5/2018 10:05 | Very much so SPADman - Started buying back BCH this morning. First lot 975. | suffersnofools
23/5/2018 18:57 | bought ltc @101 eur | odvod
23/5/2018 09:00 | Bitcoin Core BTC has so much mining power its remarkable, those rigs can easily switch to BCH and have been as Bitcoin cash sees more and more use cases and ever more merchant adoption. In my opinion Bitcoin cash is on the original road map to Global adoption Satoshi wrote about in his White paper. | spadman
20/5/2018 21:39 | dero is flying again ... didn't give much of a signal ... retrace 50%+ over a matter of weeks, and double+ overnight! | random
16/5/2018 06:31 | Its here to stay....It needs to find its feet after the late 2017 rush. Still more and more people mining. | joshondale
16/5/2018 05:55 | it is - no trading like cryptos | kaos3
16/5/2018 02:12 | is crypto still a thing? so 2017 ;) | tpaulbeaumont

07/5/2018 13:46 | Not gonna happen - My 'proper job' is on the software side of algo trading. Quantum computing of that ubiquity is a generation away. It's just more FUD for the masses. Plus, when it becomes available you update the other side with Winternitz signatures. It's just an arms race like cryptography has always been. | suffersnofools
07/5/2018 13:39 | I really can't see funds and the rich buying. For a start it is a bet against quantum computing, which renders the hashing algorithm redundant - and more specifically in bitcoin terms means the blockchain can be remade near enough instantly. Necessarily the price must discount this well before it comes about. Personally I think that time has already been reached given the rate of progress. Note that onetime pads, as can be used with a trusted other such as a bank, are unbreakable. | hpcg
04/5/2018 11:35 | There is a call for strength from the the main Masari pool. Masari is experiencing a 51% attack ... although the diff on the fork was stable, there is a second chain! ... I'm going to try to get some extra hashing up and running ... all mining payments are suspended until the next fork (while the chain stabilises) ... the mining reward is top of the cyptonight coins (for a reason!). The aim is to point as much hashing as possible to thwart the attack ... the main pool is on the right side of the split, it appears hashvault is as well, and has been clawing coins back from the other chain! (if anyone has some in a wallet/exchange, don't move them to another wallet until after the next fork). ... the global call to arms seems to be working ... a whole bunch of miners joined the main chain/pool again | random
04/5/2018 10:44 | currently mining masari, the fork has done wonders for GPU rigs, as it has for monero. fgpa is the way. GPU's are very inefficient. if only baikal would open up their bitstreams ... there is no open source bitstream out there, afaik. SHA 256 hashing is not looking good atm. Last years kit has probably been superseded. The mining/pump/dump cycle is so important to the PoW crypto market, and I'm only beginning to understand it lol ... the biggest players being bitmain. The weird behaviour on the small coins is explained now ... issues with difficulty algos, exploited by rented hash power. Masari is one of the coins that has been dealing with this, and the recent fork went much better than xmr's, where diff went highly unstable. | random
30/4/2018 11:07 | Do any of you Crypto guys use the Monitor Microscope view showing all your selected coins as "mini-charts on a single page...? It's great for a quick eyeball for the daily performance of each coin side-by-side, but I'm frustrated that the coin trends all renew to blank charts at 00:00 UTC. I've asked a few times, via the HELP board, if the coins can be handled like regular currencies & commodities to show a full rolling 24 hour trend.. Perhaps if others were to request it they might take me more seriously. | steve73
30/4/2018 10:38 | Dero is looking so hot. Haven as well ... nice pullback in an uptrend for these two, imho, but no clear buy signal yet. The Dero switch to an asic unfriendly 3 sec block time algo v soon will be a GPU / fgpa's miners dream, super low variance etc ... It will likely also spawn more than a few forks ... | random |
