"the fund manager Leno can convert assets (in this case shares) to cash at any point"

I am not sure I get that...…...how can an administrator (Leno) convert the assets (BPC shares) to cash...….they have to sell them???

When you read the small print - the fund manager Leno can convert assets (in this case shares) to cash at any point - but investors have to give written applications 3 days prior to a monthly redemption day.make what you want of it.

Protector. You have to be careful with your language. No name calling is tolerated and the board is already on two warnings.

Protector! You are a better person than me. Some of these muppets are just to thick to understand markets. Some like smooth and Stewart however ask the right questions - so good luck to them.

By the way this is where the muppets here fall well short. They think emotions and pure flows controls the stock price which is why they get aggressive with sellers.

Overall muppets are good for the market as they allow smarter investors upload and unload at a favourable price but in a strange way I have grown some affinity for some of these muppets and want to teach them a few things given their total lack of knowledge here.

Millipede. Have to disagree with you as I believe markets are efficient but I accept that it is less so on AIM. However if we were all pessimistic but the fundamentals were good then we could all sell but the smarter investor would have kept the market efficient by buying all our stock so the stock would never be 0.5p.

As such our optimism and pessimism only controls very short term technical trends and not long term fundamental valuations. I therefore disagree but very politely.

I think the problem with a sentence like "the markets still feel" is that it implies there is something more going on than the over-exuberance of a large band of small private investors.

It is a very exciting time, to be sure. And I hope BPC finds the oil it has been dreaming of for so long. But let's be clear what the market is, at least. If we were all feeling pessimistic, the price probably would be about 0.5p, for the same risk, and the same potential reward.

They cannot delay it into next year as they risk losing the licenses - they have to get it done by April or else all credibility gone and we are at 0.5p. In my view at least a 80% chance that they will get it done.

Markets obviously still feels that it will be done otherwise we will be nowhere near the current levels. However all opinions are valid and welcomed when participants are civil. No disputing that there are risks however although risk/return in shareholders favour currently in my view.

Do-able but needs a squeeze but the price already reflects that and any deviation as we saw over the last few days will have a huge negative impact on price given that without them there is no drilling and we will all be toast as the stock will go back to 0.4p if they fail to drill.

=============

So.…...whats happening.

My take......this is slush/bribe fund for the Bahamas ploiticians……..to give them some free cash......without which we would not get permission for the drill.....as per the past.

Its been extended to give them more cash.

Good Post BigSI - Significant risks remain which is why the stock is still languishing around 3.4p instead of 4.5-5p.

You will however in my view be told off by some very soon.

For the rest - the Board is on two warnings - any aggressive behaviour towards a good post such as this will result in further action
