05/2/2020 13:06 | Some good posts over on LSE although to add to this one, TW wants not just volatility but a few more to cough up and pay his monthly fee. .................... 'All the TW's and Day Traders of this world want is volatility. Spread a good rumour that is at least plausible on a share that has massive potential, that is seeing reasonable volumes - bingo! The traders win. In regards a Placing. If BPC can work out a way to mitigate the maximum potential CLN dilution then that is incumbent on them as Directors and this should take some of the breaks off the maximum potential market cap and allow the share price to reach higher highs. The board should be commended for doing this. The maximum CLN dilution is priced in as we stand as we have visibility of it, reducing that dilution should see a consequential reflection as the end prize is potentially higher.' | 2solaris
05/2/2020 12:49 | Well done GV. Here's a post from LSE: A Farm in if there were no need for any placing in lieu of the CLN - in many ways, that's strengthened our position in the discussions that were ongoing and again, pointedly refered to in the most recent RNS of the 30th Jan. Phoebus, despite your best 'efforts' in your posting today, you may get badly caught out when said Farm in news is released. Winnifreth was scandalous in his interpretation of the facts previously, which necessitated the RNS release by the company. You're now going by his current blathering as an unequivocal statement of truth - I doubt that's the case and especially so after his previous attempted manipulation. Keep trying but as the Mutual Fund concludes, get ready to be caught with your pants down. The main thing is the DRILL GOES AHEAD - refervto the most recent 'Official' RNS for details on that. 05/2/2020 12:46 | 1p - 6p most impressive!I traded it heavily from about 2p-7p whilst on holiday in Greece 2018...that was fun!;-)Locked and loaded now as I have added more today This share price will IMHO be around 10p mark while the drill bit spins GLA LTH | greenvulcan
05/2/2020 11:18 | Absolutely no need to inform shareholders but at this stage the price is telling you all you need to know | specialistslegion
05/2/2020 11:15 | Not that I am giving any credibility to the article but the company would not need to inform shareholders prior to a placing - they already have authority to place up to 1.8bn shares remember | bigsi2
05/2/2020 10:57 | ... and another blue sky muppet appears as soon as anything critical is raised. Idiots. | specialistslegion
05/2/2020 10:55 | Sounds like TW and his mates lost a packet on BPC. | whoppy
05/2/2020 10:54 | 2solaris is one of the major idiots and mugs here dynamo. The loser has lost so much that he cannot bare you saying anything critical even if you are correct. In any case - have to agree with BigSi that after the last instance TW’s coverage is dubious although he was right that BPC failed to get the offering initially off to institutions even at 1.4p. However he was wrong not to look at alternatives ie shareholders backing the company and hence he is also a muppet like the shore capital guys who only talk their books blindly - more or less like the muppets here who think BPC is a blue sky investment. However on a potentially positive note, I would have to say that rexmartel does have a point. With the chance of drilling at least around 80% it is feasible that a major will want to get involved here and on terms agreeable to BPC. If the placing was pulled and if there was no potential positive news on the horizon there is no way that we would have seen strength in the stock today after a near 80% rise over the last few weeks The price action today especially if it holds into the close indicates that the market is not concerned about any failed placing. In all likelihood we will hear of a positive development over the next week or so, in my view. | specialistslegion
05/2/2020 10:41 | If TW'S statement is true then one reason for pulling the placing could be because a major had approached BPC about a farm-in. Just a thought. | rexmartel
05/2/2020 10:28 | Slightly dubious on TW coverage after the last instance -The only way they would be raising would be to cover the CLN if not going ahead- or if understated costs of drill- quite an understatement though | bigsi2
05/2/2020 10:18 | Er, it's sunny here! | trulyscrumptious
05/2/2020 10:17 | Snow flakes in abundance today . . . . | dynamohum
05/2/2020 10:17 | I'd say TW is not worth reading at all. His language leaves a lot to be desired and he often gets things completely wrong. BPC has funds to drill, but TW's typical headline is: 'Bahamas Petroleum – even with today's scumbag placing is time running out asks top oil analyst.' And for those who enjoy sniffing in a sewer here's another of his headlines: 'Bahamas Placing pulled as it fails to raise $25m & the excuses are outright lies.' | 2solaris
05/2/2020 10:15 | Wrong thread! | 2solaris
05/2/2020 10:07 | Not a good thing to call people names DynamoHun. And it really is up to people what they invest in, they probably don't need a lecture by someone who tells them what they need or don't need or what sort of specs they are wearing, if any. Another thing, TW is renowned for trashing anything he doesn't like and many stay well clear of his vitriol. All the best and good luck here if you are invested. | thatsmart1
05/2/2020 09:57 | What amazes me is the 👎 I get for posting an article that the muppets and mug punters don’t like, yet if I was to post articles they do like I’d get 👍 . . . . It’s hard to believe they could get money from a cash machine with that mentality . . . This is far from over yet regarding perseverance , it’s getting ever more desperate for all concerned , I truly hope they can drill and hit a commercial find but folks need a view that’s not through rose tinted binoculars. . . | dynamohum
05/2/2020 09:30 | News could be this week although most likely early next week, we shall see. | trulyscrumptious
05/2/2020 09:25 | Thanks Pro, the countdown has begun! | 2solaris
05/2/2020 09:17 | Great article on proinvestors. Was hoping for a bigger price increase following this though | cthesherrif
