I had a meal at Sail at the Castle two nights ago - fantastic food . Small world...

We are staying 5 mins away from the harbour. Very impressed with the service and food etc.

Never really been a fan of Coral Bay. It's ok for a visit. I prefer Paphos harbour. I feel completely at home there. Love Penguinos coffee shop near the sea front.

Hi Linton,Yes,I love Kato Paphos harbour and the Tombs of the King's area. Even better now they built the new Kings Shopping Mall a few years back.I also have a few pairs of reflective sunglasses that I use when there as well ;0)

dynohum I do not for one minute think that Linton or whoppy are making things up as i have seen the same posts claiming this auction scenario.what i am saying is that it is still speculation on hearsay which has no confirmation by the company to date.there has been numerous rumours based on alledged comments from bpc staff over the years which have proved fruitless and without foundation so best not raise hopes or expectations to much without confirmation.

Linton, If you can point out how you know we are in an auction that would be good, however I have never seen anything from BPC stating this, I don't always agree with Todpoger but I do in this case.

What I would say is that the Attorney General very clearly stated that BPC he thought this time would drill, I think he also said he knew who the major was but I stand to be corrected on this point, for a person in his position saying that gave me confidence.

According to the attorney general bpc already had a major in place.people can't have both views is it an auction or is a major in place a lot of people seem to be contradicting their views on here.I am taking it all with a pinch of salt am frustrated fed up with bpc lack of info so am resigned to no info b4 AGM good bad or just the usual hogwash.

I’m thinking the deadline for bids is probably the end of August.

Working on the assumption the process formally started in early May, and giving 4 months from then. The holiday period will slow things down, but that seems a reasonable timeline.

If that’s roughly right, lack of news now is due to the ongoing process.

Let’s just hope one bid lands on half decent terms!!

World Oil System Fund Ltd has just listed on BISX to invest in the infrastructure, distribution and production of oil and gas. It would make sense to invest in BPC. Could be boom time. Someone smells the oil and money.
