BPC always wanted a considerable contribution towards back costs from JV as well as funding for project- As such It would be arguably cheaper at current share price to gain exposure with less risk via the equity.

I need to re read the RNS of today a couple of times as I quickly looked at it earlier, I liked the Shore Capital part though.

I don't know if I am missing something but if people sold 20% of their current holding at 1.975p (the current bid price)they could then buy them back at the 2p offer price. Of course they would incur a very small loss but the upside would be that they would be contributing to making the open offer a success which would be very much in their longterm interest.
