23/2/2018 17:29 | We'll see, wouldn't go down too well with the new political regime so I am not sure they'd want to try that. The Q4 2017 results will be interesting to watch, market expects to see profit and payment of local taxes at some point. I didn't like the machinery announcement myself. Maybe they are novices but they weren't specific about the age of the equipment or from where Mapa sourced it. Perhaps when they do the next one it will be clearer and whoever is vetting these announcements steps up their game. | sirrux
22/2/2018 16:00 | Being something of a number juggler the only thing I'm seeing is the little Business we originally invested in being turned into a huge, corporate debt pile. The way this is now structured and being operated, no matter what comes out of the ground, it's most likely already been spent via countless subsidiaries, group companies and on swathes of loans. The reality is a single entity somewhere within the global group already owned all equipment... we're paying again for something already paid for. This looks more and more like a complex scam to write-off all benefits of all mining output/Gold Product before it even reaches the end of the Mill !!! Holding for now as the share price has been on the up and there is a promise of much, much more Gold to come... but seeing is believing and all I see is lots of Debt piling up and lots of ways in which revenue generated from Gold production flows out in multiple directions to far too many interested Parties to the detriment of this Business's bottom line. | pottermagic2310
22/2/2018 11:44 | Well, not disappointed with the share price growth. Have to admit, its a bit scary when they are buying all this expensive equipment, but as you say, best look at it as a good sign of progress. | the bull
22/2/2018 11:27 | More progrees so the need for more equipment and a higher share price. | anley
10/2/2018 12:11 | I have just read the last few weeks posts and I have to say that some just don't get it............this is a new mining company coming in with tip top management and mining in the correct way. Let them get on with it and don't bother to post unless you have convinced yourself that these shares will double over the next 18-24 months based on inflation and the price of gold to go back to say $1500 per oz. | anley
01/2/2018 14:15 | I see there's been a bid for Stellar Diamonds. Don't we own part of this company or has it been quietly side-lined? | irenekent
01/2/2018 09:29 | Blimey !!! They don't mess around... 31/1/2018 16:01 | I expect this will achieve a noticeable peak that we've not previously seen... and I will be 'out' when it comes ;-) | pottermagic2310
31/1/2018 14:03 | I had missed this interview: Talking about the production guidance and explo program. Expect to substantially increase reserves/resources this year. Looking at acquisitions and still got ambitions to be 500koz producer in a couple of years. EDIT also this: Worth a read especially about the relationship with MNG | stevie blunder
25/1/2018 09:23 | I think they also need to demonstrate that they can hit their output targets. We need to see over 30k oz in each of the first 2 quarters at New Liberty. | jimcar
25/1/2018 08:56 | POG is reasonably good, historically speaking and all global economics taken into consideration... the dizzy heights of 5 years ago may not be too realistic. Finding lots more accessible Gold across our Mines is what we really need. | pottermagic2310
24/1/2018 19:49 | Would hope the consolidation and positive update might encourage a re-rating here, but of course the real driver is the pog. | dozey3
24/1/2018 15:54 | Definitely feels better that we're dealing with a Business that genuinely operates in the multiple of £10s of millions ballpark and the revised share price does seem a valid point of some merit too, all things considered. It would be brilliant if the exploration work does culminate in a more +ve outlook, with significantly greater profitability in mind. Time will tell. | pottermagic2310
24/1/2018 12:21 | I guess we need to see the numbers but looks like (on current gold prices) that the expectation is for 60 million + profit on a less than 200 million market cap. If that's correct, there are not too many of those deals on offer. Clearly not without risk tho, perhaps the issue is that if the Q1 18 drilling is not successful it limits the life of the Liberian project somewhat but I am hopeful that they have just scratched the surface and Liberia turns out to be big gold producer with a new president and renewed hope for their country. | sirrux
24/1/2018 09:44 | would have rather a 10/1 consolidation but guessing they didn't want to be a penny share anymore, hope that judgement proves correct | the bull
24/1/2018 09:38 | Is there anything not to like about this - except perhaps the many £millions heading out to group/subsidiary Businesses which is a huge drain on profitability ? I see promise in the general Business Plan and am "sticking" for now, definitely not selling but not enticed to invest any more either. | pottermagic2310
24/1/2018 08:28 | Help...if you use ADVFN portfolio does it automatically adjust your shares to post consolidation amount, or do you have to do it manually. Anyone know how to do that? Thanks ps woke up this morning thinking i was rich as had forgotten about consolidation...hey ho back to the day job. | paraguay
24/1/2018 08:13 | Share consolidation 1 for 100. If you previously held 1000 shares you now hold 10. Value per share has increased proportionately by a factor of 100. | irenekent
24/1/2018 07:39 | Seems like a bargain based on the announcement today, anybody agree or disagree? | sirrux
18/1/2018 14:14 | Slow slow will it grow. Well just wanted to say something that also rhymes. We watch, we wait, we anticipate. | sirrux
18/1/2018 10:20 | Helful.......... hxxp://investmentres | anley |
