06/1/2017 15:08 | Penny share status puts a lot of folk off I am sure. I have now averaged down to 7.1p, just hoping for a positive update and maybe someone will tip them! Don't ever expect to see all my money back tho. | stevie blunder
06/1/2017 12:05 | I've got them in my ISA 490k of them, gold looking a bit better since NY. Roll on the debt repayments being reworked and the mine producing as to design. | ukgeorge
06/1/2017 10:39 | Barclays fixed it and I bought a few more Looks like I am the only Barclays customer to have wanted to trade this in an ISA since the rename Very quiet trading indeed! | stevie blunder
06/1/2017 10:10 | Barclays say I can't buy this in my ISA LOL! They "are checking" Anyone else having problems? | stevie blunder
04/1/2017 16:39 | a whopping £3.2k of shares traded today | ukgeorge
01/1/2017 13:43 | Thanks Shavian and Potter, I'll take a look at those. I think at this price the risk reward is quite good here. Just hope they finally start meeting targets, on production and costs. I'd like to see a share consolidation as the 5Bn shares in issue is silly. | ukgeorge
01/1/2017 10:39 | wait till 20p too much dodgyness in this one | opodio
01/1/2017 10:25 | HNY all fellow bruised Aureans. Yes it's tempting to add at this price, given the long term promise of the fundamentals, but I don't trust the Turks any more than I've trusted Netherway over the years. First AFF then AUE, it's never been the same since the exciting days of Mano River and African Aura. Fortunately I took profits on much of my Aura just before the split, and I'm holding onto the rump in sorrow and curiosity to see what happens next.Like Pottermagic I'm into other things these days. My remaining precious metals interest is concentrated on MARL and Sandstorm (SSL:TSX a very promising streaming company), but my focus is now on new materials for advanced technology, such as graphene which is after much hype and promise finally about to enter the commercial world. Look at VRS which is infusing genuine graphene into plastics and carbon fibre thus strengthening and lightening them. Also lithium, graphite and REEs supply is about enter significant shortage as EV and battery production ramps up. The Canadians are way ahead in these niche fields. Look at UCU, CCB and DJI if you are interestedGood luck all for 2017 | shavian
30/12/2016 10:18 | Very tempted, as the Market clearly values this at about £75million right now based on the current, known fundamentals, despite very low Production levels and debt repayment concerns. Feels as though all the right moves have been made to turn this around... BUT we've been here before, only seems to take an unforeseen "calamity" to appear from nowhere and it's back to basics all over again. That sort of scenario has happened so many times already that I'm loathed to throw any more good money after bad... which I may well regret but I'm thinking to spread my Bets a little further afield this Year End and take additional punts elsewhere, e.g. ARL ATLANTIS RESOURCES KMK KROMEK GROUP MSYS MICROSAIC SYSTEMS OXP OXFORD PHARMASCIENCE SCLP SCANCELL HOLDINGS | pottermagic2310
29/12/2016 23:22 | A bit of good news soon and this will fly surely, may build on weakness to lower my 0.0164 average | the bull
29/12/2016 20:31 | Mining Stocks UP... ASO DOWN ??!! | pottermagic2310
23/12/2016 12:11 | Merry Xmas and may our New Year be paved with Gold ;-) | pottermagic2310

15/12/2016 09:29 | I Miss-spelled the name of the company in this thread Which meant it didn't appear on a search for Avesoro, so I have started again, using The Bull's as thread title, Thanks Bull, more imaginative than me!. | stevie blunder
15/12/2016 09:26 | Avesoro is the renamed Aureus Mining. Link to previous thread: Website: Avesero/Aureus have had a nightmare developing the New Liberty Mine in Liberia. They almost went bust and had to be rescued by MNG Gold who are now majority owners with over 70%. They have acquired 2 mines in Burkino Faso from their largest shareholder and have a target of producing 220-240 koz in 2018. They are cash generative and paying down debt. Mine lives will be extended in 2018 as drilling results are incorporated in updated mine plans. They intend to make further acquisition(s) in 2018 Top Shareholders Avesoro Jersey Limited (MNG) 73.5% Richard Griffiths and controlled Undertakings 4.2% Henderson Global Investors 3.3% Condire Resource Partners 3.3% Issued number of common shares of no par value: 81,575,260 It looks like they have turned the company around and with three profitable mines and a shed load of exploration opportunities they look set to expand production and mine lives.
