08/10/2009 10:32 | A part of me is hoping that this deal with Kentor falls through as i feel we are selling this gold mine at the wrong time and with gold hitting highs and set to double in the near future iam sure AUR would find it alot easier to finance the development of the mine now then we would be making some serious money. | flinnyourin
06/10/2009 11:22 | picked up a small parcel this morning, although a cash return is not certain the mkt must surely add a premium after deal. | ducatiman
01/10/2009 21:14 | staying out for now but watching. Waiting to see the exciting opportunities! | ducatiman
01/10/2009 21:09 | This must reach or exceed the 20p (as reported in the Telegraph)cash value when Andash is sold as someone could snap this company up for the cash value and have free 10% of a gold mine with no develpoment cost. | flinnyourin
30/9/2009 09:15 | zangdook - OVG are the best of them. | elban
30/9/2009 09:03 | Staddles - if you like giving cash to the directors of failed mining companies to invest on your behalf, look at CGM, MCR and OVG. I'm sure there are more. | zangdook
29/9/2009 18:37 | I can't stay away, have got back in just to see how this pans out in the hope there are deals out there that my 17p can be spent on wisely and that will give good returns in a recovering market. | staddles
29/9/2009 08:12 | some people assumed it was but they never said that...recent results RNS outlines the real aim onwards and upwards imo... | scotswhaehae
29/9/2009 08:07 | scots ... oh fair enough .. I thought the plan was to return 17p like they returned 33p earlier in the year ? | ihavenoclue
28/9/2009 13:28 | To be fair they are not going to give back 17p a share...they are going to invest the 17p into even better money making opportunities...see the relevant RNS! So this is 11p (10% stake) plus 12p (current share price) plus (in my view) eventually 35p plus (new deals to come) minus maybe 4p hope value in the current share price = more than 50p And the current price is 12p .....no brainer? dyor | scotswhaehae
28/9/2009 12:51 | Flinnyourin - 27 Sep'09 - 09:45 - 898 of 901 If you take the average price of Aurum before the court case it was about £1.10, so we are getting 10% with no develpoment costs, so that must value that 10% at about 11p right. ==================== So you completely missed the bit where they are going to give 17p a share back to shareholders on top of the above ? | ihavenoclue
28/9/2009 08:43 | Should hit 15p plus by midweek in my view given 'imminent' news as per RNS Vwey satisfactory progress dyor | scotswhaehae
28/9/2009 08:25 | Bought back in first thing ... looking good | ihavenoclue
27/9/2009 14:55 | I'm in --- getting out of most stocks and don't want to hold cash in sterling. So buying this at a discount to what will be its cash value and having the money held in dollars seems a good way of protecting against the next crunch and a sterling collapse. | elban
27/9/2009 09:45 | If you take the average price of Aurum before the court case it was about £1.10, so we are getting 10% with no develpoment costs, so that must value that 10% at about 11p right. | flinnyourin
25/9/2009 08:08 | Can't see how it will "triple" from here .... even if they give 17p back per share it will rise to 17p. When they gave back 33p the share rose to 33p ... not 60p so I can only see it topping out at 17p no where near 30p. Having said that I did buy in at 10p and sold at 14p recently so yes it is a good trading share ... close to 40% is not to be sniffed at. Regards IHNC | ihavenoclue
22/9/2009 13:33 | thanks davros 006 nice buying opportunity opening up again in my view ... proving to be a great trade and with maybe a tripler potential from here but each to their own ... this is still one of the nicer threads like IND which could also rocket imo ...dyor | scotswhaehae
21/9/2009 18:25 | Good luck guys with your new ventures, but there wasnt a mad rush to get out today so i dont think the share price will slide much more from here. If anybody has any doubts about the management, the future of the company or any other general questions just give them a ring 02074994000, i did and i was very happy with what they had to say, they seem very focused and commited with an experianced team running things. They did a good job at selling the Andash mine which was valued by the markets at 4p so they did well to release value of about 26p, the guy i spoke to was very friendly and had genuine excitment for the future of the coimpany so iam happy to hold for now. | flinnyourin
21/9/2009 17:00 | I can only see the share price slipping from here so I am out to. | staddles
21/9/2009 16:50 | Well i'm out completely, the return of cash was why i was here, not interested in sitting for X yrs whilst the company decide IF they want to invest my money or not, and wether or not a return maybe further down the line from there. Still made 20%+ from the free shares i was running+ those purchased recently, but expected alot more. Seems the normal AIM bullsh*t... They've already proved they cant progress projects with Andash... Now they want another go? Not with my hard earned they're not.. GL all. | davros006
21/9/2009 10:30 | Zangdook - The answer to your question is NO, no finacial comitments to Kentor for the development of Andash, this greatly enhances the value of the 10%. | flinnyourin
20/9/2009 15:26 | The question I've asked on here and of the company, with no reply, is do we have to pay 10% of the development costs, since we retain 10% of Andash? I suspect maybe not as we're buying it back from the Kyrgyz body we gave it to in the first place in order to fiddle the court case, so to speak. I too am disappointed about the board trying to hang onto our money. They did the same thing at CGM and I sold out. I'm stuck in OVG who are playing the same game. They may do a good job of investing it, but there are people out there with better track records. I'd like my cash back please, and I'll find my own investments. The only thing preventing me from selling out if there's a spike on news is the 10% of Andash, but only if it's free carry with no responsibilty for development costs. I'd really like an answer to that question. | zangdook
19/9/2009 08:39 | PP. Before Kentor took option out to buy Andash there share price was .040 now it is .125 thats an increase of over 200% and they havent even signed yet, thats how much the share price can move if you acquire or partner the right company. | flinnyourin
18/9/2009 21:26 | Or, a great investment, some money AND a 10% interest in.....? Pp. | piperpeter |
