18/9/2009 21:17 | "we either get our money or we get a great investment that could make us some decent money", Flinnyourin? Plus, of course, the 10% interest in something that could well prove to be considerably sizeable? Pp. | piperpeter
18/9/2009 19:56 | After reading the final results i was a little bit disappointed as i set my mind on the cash but i think it does make sence to see if we can pick up or partner some struggling company and help them to get into production as there are many companys out there crying out for cash and cash is king at the moment and theres no better time to pick up a bargain than now so i think its worth giving the board a chance to see what they come up with we have nothing to loose in the end they have given us the final say `Currently Aurum's executive management are working in a number of different areas, looking at exciting acquisition opportunities that should they meet our exacting criteria will be considered for appropriate study, due diligence and in due course recommendation to our Shareholders for approval` `overstretched and overleveraged local players are forced to divest of assets to survive. As a result, there are a small number of highly desirable assets that are becoming available and many of these can be acquired on excellent partnership terms` Ducatiman you cannot blame the directors for what happened with the Andash project it was the court case that messed everything up they had done a good job up until then, there is alot of experience between Sean Finlay (30 years) and Mark Jones (25 years) who knows that 20p could easily become £1.00+ if they choose wisely. `It has been a year of significant progress for Aurum - we started the year in the midst of a court case that threatened our very existence and we now find ourselves feeling very confident of delivering strong returns to all our stakeholders in 2010` I think in the end they will have to come up with something really special as i think the large share holders will want the money, so i think it will be good news both ways, we either get our money or we get a great investment that really could make us some descent money. | flinnyourin
18/9/2009 15:36 | scots, already have mog but not for a quick play unless the bid comes of course. I think the directors here are trying to save themselves a cushy job. No doubt shareholders will not want them to mess up another venture and will demand the cash. What staff would be required to monitor the 10% of Andash? I could part time! | ducatiman
18/9/2009 14:16 | why disappointing...if just giving you the cash back was the best route they would take it...they have identified major enhancing deals so I am a very happy bunny this is not a short term play...some of us have quadrupled our money here...and expect to quadruple again in time. if its a quick trade you want why not buy MOG and SKR ...DYOR OF COURSE | scotswhaehae
18/9/2009 13:04 | Dissappointing statement by the board, and the movement reflects that. I am in negative terratory so will have to hild the share price will go up on an announcement I will double up once its gets lower, but was hoping for a good rise today. | staddles
18/9/2009 12:00 | I am now flat, sorry folks but the limits said sell. Quite sure these will hit 17p when the deal is done but looks like there will be opportunities to get in cheaper down the line. Also looks like the board will have to be forced, I would suggest they get real and pop into the local job centre. | ducatiman
18/9/2009 10:16 | Not happy about this talk of acquistions - I wonder if Altima will put pressure on them? | catandcrow
18/9/2009 09:35 | how about AUR !! MOG starting a major run too imo...dyor | scotswhaehae
18/9/2009 08:33 | morning scots, you have a good track record imo, what share do you favour at the moment? fwiw I like NBI which the market seems to have left behind. | skyracer
18/9/2009 08:02 | mornin guys ...keep deramping...jealousy gets you nowhere...LOL | scotswhaehae
18/9/2009 07:33 | "will be put in font of shareholders" What will shareholders want? | ducatiman
18/9/2009 07:31 | sky, thats what they think, lol. | ducatiman
18/9/2009 07:27 | The Board is now examining a number of exceptional acquisition opportunities which will be put in front of our Shareholders at the appropriate time Shareholders are not going to get any cash back, changes the value of AUR entirely. The Board are living in lala land, it takes far, far more than $13.8m to develop an asset. And of course the Board will keep paying themselves ...... | skyracer
18/9/2009 07:06 | Flinn, aus£2m to fund due dilligence on Andash, with more to come from open offer. They are certainly very serious. Ty for mrp congrats, more to come there soon too, imo. good luck, duc. | ducatiman
18/9/2009 06:56 | Yes i think these will be the same institutions and investors who will come up with the main money when there ready, so all looking good in the garden shouldnt be too long now, Kentor up another 10% at the moment thats means Kentor are up over 160% from when they took options out to buy AUR so they really need this to succeed. Wish i had more money can still just about double your money from here. Well done on MRP guys a nice little 20% | flinnyourin
18/9/2009 05:01 | Well Kentor have successfully raised some cash for the Andash project today, they seem serious enough. | ajbird
17/9/2009 10:12 | It does look that way, doesn't it? | lr2
17/9/2009 10:07 | Ffrom the suspension annoucement "Kentor Gold is in the process of negotiating the terms of a share placement for the purposes of raising capital. An additional day is required to finalise the placement." Why are they raising money now? That suggests to me that they are looking to close asap. | catandcrow
17/9/2009 10:05 | Yes, you are. I had a read of it before turning in for the night. I think you'll find MRP have released news today too. | lr2
17/9/2009 10:04 | Am I correct in believing that another asx announcement was made this morning, by Kentor? Pp. | piperpeter
17/9/2009 07:03 | LR2 dont forget the 10% which will be worth at least 3p + | flinnyourin
16/9/2009 22:54 | robo, could be quite a few returning that in the near future if the dow keeps bubbling. Resource stocks could surge significantly. Best to be in a few, imo. News here that the deal is done will almost certainly see 17/18p. Let`s hope the kentor requested suspension is to announce the deal. | ducatiman
16/9/2009 22:50 | 3 months due diligence ending 30th September. Assume further 3 month extension - cash raising etc. ending 31st December. $13.8 million to Aurum by end of year. Approx £2 milllion cash in bank. $13.8 / 1.64 exch rate = £8.41 million. Total approx £10.41 million / 48.1 million shares = 21.6p. Most of this should be repaid to holders early in the New Year or earlier if 3 month extension is not required. Robo, you should have around 70% profit in the next 4 months maximum. | lr2
16/9/2009 22:15 | Duc, MRP? | robo63 |
