Ardana plc: Disclosure of interests in shares


Ardana plc (the "Company") was informed on 11 March 2005 pursuant to Section 198
of the Companies Act 1985 that as at the close of its business on 10 March 2005,
UBS AG, acting through its business group and legal entities detailed below, had
a material interest in 2,145,000 ordinary shares of 1 p each of the Company,
representing 3.86 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company
(55,562,806 ordinary shares currently in issue).

The Company was informed that none of the Relevant Shares are shares in which
UBS AG is interested by virtue of Section 208 (5) of the Act.

In addition, the Company was informed on 9 March 2005 in accordance with

that the notifiable interest of 3i Group plc in the share capital of the Company
comprises 3,894,360 ordinary shares of 1 pence each, representing 7.01% of the
issued share capital of the Company and that the registered holder of these
shares is 3i Group plc.
