Mauritania resource upgrade set to commence in May with a major drilling programme signed off |
Anyone got the link the Australia forum where the guy linked to aura reckons Titus plot holds treble the current estimates? |

I agree, its unacceptable for management not to have the courtesy to reply. |
danmart2 - I emailed the company, twice, asking a few questions. They never bothered to reply. Seems like the management here look down on us lowly PI's, but they should remember we make up the day to day trading and gyrations in the share price and without us it is hard to get their placings away because we make up the daily trading which moves the share price higher. It puts me off when management don't wish to communicate with shareholders. Other companies can do it and they are also busy. |
You pick some excellent shares to invest in TCofMC! I remember when the uranium price peaked at US$140 per lb back in 2007. I had shares in Uramin (UMN) at the time. They had a massive low grade uranium deposit in Namibia. UMN was bought back in 2007 by the French state uranium company for US$2.6bn. My best ever investment. Pity it was all a fraud! The uranium deposit turned out to be uneconomic even at US$140 per lb and the takeover was just a ruse devised by the French to pay an illegal commission to a South African wheeler dealer, who had a substantial shareholding in UMN, for his services in arranging a deal in the Central African Republic. Needless to say UMN's Namibia deposit proved to be worthless.
The legal ramifications of the UMN deal are still ongoing after all these years.
The AURA chart is very bullish. I like the look of the company and will have a punt. Nuclear fission as a source of "green" baseload electricity generation is back in fashion again after the collapse in confidence following the Japanese disaster of 2011. |
Any news on when they will commence the further drilling in Mauritania? |
up a penny ! they should omit a few more paragraphs from their reports... |
Why are some investors predicting an upwards re-rate at the end of this month? |
bizzare timing given where the uranuim spot price is heading short term... |
Short term head winds for the sp, but medium to longer term this is positive news. |
Aura funding confirmed; Tiris production construction decision by end of 2022 after upgraded resource works completed |
Let's see what tomorrow brings:) |
Funding raise is meant to be for accelerated operational works including proving additional resource in the area with a substantial number of drills across AURAs licensed plots.
Expect a substantially upgraded resource report |
Surprising share price action this week considering how strongly the uranium price has moved and how the West are now going to be searching for uranium supply away from Russia. But I find that usually it takes a while for these things to play out and sink in and the market to factor in and understand the situation. I was thinking to trade this on the small upticks, as I have done previously, but now want to sit tight and see how this plays out over the coming months. It's a very cheap company when compared against its peers. |
count, those big charts of yours are great, no need to peer at the screen.
ill bet the fund raise is to get tiris going. they must be champing at the bit to supply the growing market ahead. |
The project fundamentals get better and better, increasingly favourable uranium sentiment, EU saying nuclear is part of their green energy mix and plan, Germany revaluating their terrible strategy of relying on Russia for their energy and closing all of their nuclear fleet. The Tiris project is one of the top near term uranium mines out there, comparable companies are capped in the 100s of millions.
NOTE the share price spiked to 21p on the 14th Sept 21 when the Uranium price it 50 USD. Today it hit 60 USD and the share price is 15.5p. Yet the project and the two other projects are so much more advanced and the environment and sentiment is now much more positive for uranium! |
Thanks danmart, if you find the video or Sharetalk webcast please do share it. I will also keep an eye out. |
CEO has a Q&A scheduled for tomorrow, I would expect an RNS before the Q&A to explain what’s happening |
Surprised they need money for general operations; they raised enough through the Australia only share option and haven’t exactly been spending or discovering much since.
Watch this space |
Haggan remains on care and maintenance so funding must be for Tiris or general expenses? Explo and assays + Archaen spin off eating away at cash reserves?
New EPC contract needed for Tiris before Curzon loan can be taken up. 140m shares still to be issued as and when options exercised. Things moving quickly but funds needed now hence placing? All part of moving towards Tiris construction phase, imo, but not actual construction. Have we done EIA for Tiris?
Nottinghill on HC speculates A$5m raise at 25c via PAC Partner. No source stated. Small raise like this again suggests general expenses? Be nice if it was to move the gold forward though. |
Strange, I was convinced any mine development would be a joint venture or even sell Tirus?
What is the reason being discussed on hot copper forums? I can’t get my hot copper log in to work |
Trading halt on the ASX, pending a fund raising. Could they be funding the commencement of building the uranium mine? |
