31/3/2024 20:14 | Thanks for your detailed reply. Question is will they try and pinch it from under your nose? | all in eol
31/3/2024 20:08 | Since 2012!!!. I suspect like you I have lost a lot of money on MEN. With hindsight I was somewhat stupid in investing in something so binary. I sold a lot of MEN at the point of consolidation but to this day I still own some which of course are worthless pretty much now. Guess found myself holding on for incremental worker success, the drill in Paraguay, MEN holding in Atome and possible additional spin offs. I am aware of PL call on MENS Atome holding.PL is a lawyer so he knows what he can and cannot do. Who do we blame?, PL ,ourselves .....luck!!. I'll agree to his terms even though I understand that my rights are not as strong within a private company and give him the benefit of the doubt to do the right thing if value is created. Atome was always a let's run with it and see what transpires however when they came up with the fertiliser decision everything changed and it suddenly looked very very interesting. Now at this point technically Atome is still a binary trade but unlike a 20% COS with an oil drill Atome in my opinion has a 90% COS. As a plc company what it is trying to do is in the public domain and yes there are a number of companies around the world trying to copy what Atome is doing. Plagiarism is the highest form of flattery??. So the cheapest electricity in the world (base load), the sub station is on the their perimeter and their customers can be thrown the fertiliser over the fence!!!!. The question is if Atome cannot make this work you tell me who can. The answer is no one. Yes I have a reasonable position in this stock | dake1
31/3/2024 18:39 | Dake1 You have been around MEN and ATOM a while looking at your posts. Take a look at what’s happened with MEN, have a look at the RNSs again. Does it make you feel comfortable with your ATOM investment? I’ve no idea how it will turn out but surely you need to have a think? | all in eol
31/3/2024 17:56 | Just don’t listen to this rubbish MEN shareholders are all bitter and twisted at the moment | dake1
31/3/2024 15:29 | Why would they want to delist? | vatnabrekk
31/3/2024 11:09 | I suspect they will try and delist ATOM before the end of the year. I wonder what tools they will use to depress the share price first:- - High interest loans - Consolidation - Placings | brasso3
30/3/2024 12:14 | I can appreciate that AiE. My grandkid's small stakes are still in the game though. So I will be keeping this thread on my email alert list. Have a pleasant Easter All in Eol - and thanks for creating this thread in the first place. | mcunliffe1
30/3/2024 11:48 | My hearts no longer in it. | all in eol
30/3/2024 09:16 | AiE: Why? Create another thread that is. | mcunliffe1
29/3/2024 22:19 | I think it’s time someone created another thread. | all in eol
29/3/2024 21:33 | No more support for MEN from the institutional shareholders whilst they remain listed. Wonder what Schroders are thinking after increasing stake in Atome a listed company. From a Pi point of view it’s not very good? | all in eol
29/3/2024 20:37 | I’m sure the MEN RNS affected the ATOM share price and rightly so. | all in eol
29/3/2024 15:48 | samsung7: I have just voted your post UP. I've seen the warning signs over on MEN and they mirror my feelings that ATOM may be MEN (not in black) 2. I suspect the PL's of this world lead wondrous lives unfortunately it would appear it is on other folks money. Should anything ever come of ATOM I will be the first to acknowledge my mistakes here. And I will know beacuse I intend to leave (for the moment anyway) the relatively small investments my g'kids have in this company. Such may serve as a useful lesson for when they are older. | mcunliffe1
29/3/2024 14:43 | This unfortunately will be next (MEN) I'm sure it will get milked left right and centre on the way up and all the way down by them at the top My advice (and remember my advice is worth what you paid for it)is give this a wide berth it's heavily tainted will never reach it's potential in any shape or form | samsung7
29/3/2024 12:16 | And why would I do that Activ? I would be unable to provide any great challenge that would concern him. | mcunliffe1
29/3/2024 11:36 | Buy some MEN shares and go to the AGM and meet the man in person. | activmojo
29/3/2024 09:13 | The MEN thread exhibits little respect for Peter Levine. Whilst I have no knowledge of Molecular Energies (no investment and no interest, past or present) I note from comments on there that in Jan 2024 a placement of shares in MEN was sold at a price lower than the share price at that time. A similar event took place on ATOM just recently when a number of shares were sold at a price lower than the share price I still don't understand how that can be legal. I think I will spend some effort keeping an eye on Peter Levine over the coming years and avoid investing in anything touched by his hand. | mcunliffe1
28/3/2024 18:11 | Dake1 maybe some like to understand a situation better before committing capital? Bit of a daft question by you imo | dimpkins
28/3/2024 17:06 | I do own - just not in my own right. I control the three trust fund accounts for my three grandkids with A J Bell. I have explained this. I was looking to invest £5k into ATOM about two weeks back - after watching the video interview with Olivier. Again, I posted that. However, I got an uneasy feeling especially when I read the posts on the MEN thread. This led me to hold back from my own purchase. Today, I looked at the three small holdings of the g'kids. I'll let those ride - who knows? ATOM may work out. Oh, and it is often wise to post when one doesn't own the stock - mainly to seek input from those who do. Is there a problem with that Dake1? EDIT: I am not ramping in either direction. I have no agenda. | mcunliffe1
28/3/2024 16:45 | If you don't own this stock why are you posting | dake1
28/3/2024 12:37 | Seems all is not well with MEN (Molecular Energies). Peter Levine seems somewhat persona non grata just now. My post #663 appears justified now I believe. | mcunliffe1
26/3/2024 10:56 | Summary of the note available without subscription. 'We have undertaken a scenario analysis of project funding options for ATOME. Our new backstop valuation based on topco equity funding at the level of the last equity raise gives protection at 64p. A more efficient solution of project sales at FID gives 200p but an even more efficient farm down model gives 252p. Financial close on Villeta this year could be a catalyst for these higher valuations. All options offer strong value at today’s share price and show that ATOME has optionality in financin...' | dk37
26/3/2024 09:05 | There is a research note out today from Longspur you may have to subscribe it talks about all possible funding solutions in truth I am not sure what to make of it all. To subscribe through research tree is not expensive | dake1
20/3/2024 18:05 | MCunliffe120 Mar '24 - 17:51 - 669 of 669 You need to do some more research. It’s all in the RNSs what the small electrolyser was for and the fact they have moved away from that part of the business to concentrate on their bigger picture which needs a hell of a lot more infrastructure and a lot of money which they are on with raising? | all in eol |
