Posted at 27/11/2024 17:05 by bbd2 Exactly. The selling of the Atome shares held by CPH2 is because of the financial situation they are in, as specified in their own recent RNS.I have to say that if the CPH2 Investor Relations team did indeed confirm to the earlier poster that they are selling their Atome shares; then they need sacking!! |
Posted at 27/11/2024 10:26 by billy3 RNS on 7th Nov for Atom confirmed reduction in shareholding of CPH by selling shares. On 7th November they had 1,412,429 remaining shares in Atome. I added up and about 80% of Atome shares are held by large investors or Atome staff. |
Posted at 27/11/2024 09:31 by pjohn1985 Atome aren't purchasing any electrolysers or any equipment for that matter directly. The EPC contract with casale is a fixed price contract to build the entire plant from start to finish with them responsible for procurement. The electrolysers are coming from Longi in China. via the EPC contractor. CPH2 have been selling off their stake in atome, I contacted their investor relations and asked. |
Posted at 22/11/2024 13:24 by lordmason @pjohn1985So in terms of % ownership at the project level for Villeta, does that mean: Atome $270m = 60% Investor $180m = 40% Is there any info re debt/loan repayment period and interest terms? If so, we can use this to model income and the share price |

Posted at 02/7/2024 09:05 by pjohn1985 The company have a targeted sales price of $410 per tonne as per the investor presentation at the end of May. production cost are in the region of $180.This gives a profit of $230 per tonne before financing costs. During the earnings call it was stated the project should be able to support 60% debt with a 40% equity investor. The project cost is $460 million. ($275 debt, $185 from an equity investor). The IDB and other finance institutions charge a preferential rate on loans. Interest would hopefully be in the region of 6.5%. This would give a finance cost of $18 million. Therefore I think the total profits from Villeta will come in at $42.5 million per year. The only question then is the ownership percentage between atome and the equity investors. |

Posted at 03/4/2024 15:58 by gowise From LinkedIn:" Olivier Mussat • Following • Following CEO of ATOME Although linkedin is not quite the right forum to discuss investor questions, I d be remiss not to respond to @ matt phillips who asked a question on another post "When will atome be announcing progress at Villeta. Investors were promised FEED and FID in Q3 2023. We were then promised Offtake in Q1 2024. Here we are in Q2 and none of this has yet materialised. " Dear Matt, you are correct that we have been delayed in our original program, and as stated since, engineering has taken more time than expected and created knock on effects across the financing and the offtake. And whilst we are now nearing the end of FEED of Villeta, we are in parallel negotiating both the EPC contract and offtake in order to achieve the best possible outcome for the project and all ATOME shareholders. Rest assured we are not sitting idle on our hands and doing our utmost in creating a first in kind green fertilizer project that will become a blueprint." |
Posted at 20/3/2024 10:21 by mcunliffe1 Peter Levine has kindly vindicated my concern I posted in #663.I'm sorely tempted to 'phone ATOME PLC Nikita Levine, Investor Relations +44 (0) 113 337 2210 and ask if I coule buy 1000 shares at 50p. I fail to understand how an unnamed 'long-standing, supportive, institutional investor' can bag a million shares at a discount to that we mere mortals must pay. Whilst the RNS states "There is no intention to issue further shares at the said price." this does not preclude the intention to issue more at a different price (even lower possibly) or indeed to change their intent at any point. That is why I'm out (well, technically I was never in other than three small g'kid holdings totalling 871 shares). the MEN thread carries similar reports. |
