Fourth Quarter Update and Contract Wins
Allocate Software plc (AIM: ALL), the leading provider of workforce and business
optimisation solutions, announces a strong performance for its fourth quarter
ended 31 May 2010. Key highlights include:
* Acquisition of Dynamic Change Ltd, a market leading software-as-a-service
("SaaS") provider, to broaden Allocate's application portfolio for the
Healthcare sector to include regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk
and performance management
* 14 new NHS contract wins for Healthroster, the e-Rostering application,
increasing the total NHS e-Rostering customer base to 119 Trusts
* Awarded the largest contract in Allocate's history - a State-wide e-Rostering
contract by the Department of Health, New South Wales, Australia. The signed
contract value for license and support is in excess of A$6 million
(approximately GBP3.3 million at current exchange rates). In addition, a
services agreement worth approximately A$4 million (approximately GBP2.2 million
at current exchange rates) is expected to be agreed and signed following the
completion of an initial planning project, bringing the total contract up to a
potential value of A$10 million
* GBP2 million contract signed with the Australian Army for Allocate's Defence
Suite
* Birmingham East and North Primary Care Trust signed a new contract for BSMS
Trinity, the Bank Staff Management Solution
* London Ambulance Service signed a contract for Allocate's SAPPS financial
modelling product, boosting the total number of NHS healthcare organisations
using this application to 65
* Continued successful integration of Time Care AB with 15 new business wins,
eight of which were new license deals
* Dynamic Change Ltd secured its first business win as part of the Allocate
Group, with Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust purchasing its
Commissioning for Quality and Innovation ("CQUIN") solution, helping the Trust
to drive quality and unlock incentive payments
Healthcare
Allocate's acquisition of Dynamic Change Ltd last month enables the Company to
offer the Healthcare sector a broader range of applications and SaaS delivery
capability. Dynamic Change secured its first business win as part of the
Allocate Group with the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
purchasing its CQUIN solution
The Healthcare sector continues to deliver strong organic growth across
Allocate's Health Suite of applications. New contracts awarded for Healthroster
during the fourth quarter were:
* Colchester University Hospital Foundation Trust
* Stockport NHS Foundation Trust
* Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust
* Guys and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust
* Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
* Barnsley Primary Care Trust
* The Nuffield Orthopeadic Centre NHS Trust
* Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust
* Hull Teaching Primary Care Trust
* Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust
* Greenwich Teaching Primary Care Trust
* North Bristol NHS Trust
* Durham and Darlington Primary Care Trust
* Bedfordshire Community Healthservices
As detailed above, Allocate was also awarded its largest ever contract with the
State Government of New South Wales, Australia, to supply its Healthroster
software across the entire state public health system, covering more than 90,000
staff.
Birmingham East and North Primary Care Trust purchased BSMS Trinity to manage
its bank and agency staff, increasing the number of customers using one of
Allocate's Bank Systems to over 170 NHS Trusts.
The London Ambulance Service has signed a contract for the implementation of
SAPPS, Allocate's financial modelling product. A key reason for them choosing
this solution was the product's proven capability to ensure cost effectiveness
in the delivery of services without comprising the quality of the services being
delivered.
Successful integration with Time Care AB continues, with 15 new business wins
reported over the period. Eight of these were for new licenses including:
* Stockholm Globe Arenas, which takes Time Care into a new business sector,
event venues
* Västerås Stad, the first Municipality customer for Time Care Scheduler
* Förenade Care, one of Sweden's largest 'Private Care' companies
Defence
In May 2010, the Australian Army signed a new GBP2 million contract for
Allocate's Defence Suite, to support its Force Modelling and the Individual
Reinforcement programme. This is one of the largest licence contracts ever to be
awarded for the Defence Suite. The contract will be rolled out across the
Australian Army's Enabling Brigades over the next six months.
Maritime
The world's largest entertainment company went live shore-side with the Maritime
Suite in April 2010.
Ian Bowles, Chief Executive Officer of Allocate commented: "This has been
another significant period of activity for Allocate. We have demonstrated
further strong organic growth in our key vertical sectors. Healthroster and
BSMS are now the most commonly used applications for e-Rostering and temporary
staff management in the NHS.
"The recent selection of Allocate and Healthroster by the Department of Health,
New South Wales, validates our international expansion strategy. The new
contract with the Australian Army, building on our relationship with the Royal
Australian Navy, clearly reinforces our position within the Defence sector,
particularly across the Commonwealth and Coalition forces community.
"We continued to deliver on our acquisition strategy with the acquisition of
Dynamic Change, which has brought us new expertise in the SaaS arena. This
acquisition has extended our ability to deliver quality applications and
services to existing customers and created new opportunities across the UK NHS
and international healthcare markets. I am therefore confident that our growth
will continue well in to the future."
Full year trading update
As detailed above, Allocate ended the financial year strongly and as a result
the Board expects to report results for the financial year ended 31 May 2010
ahead of its previous expectations. The Company's results for the financial year
ended 31 May 2010 will be announced in the week commencing 2 August 2010.
