Risk off now. Money costs more.

This will put off many potential bidders. I'm quite happy with that as I think the present deal with Peidmont will result in a far far higher valuation for Atlantic (10x here+) than any T/O that may appear over the next year.

We'll see.

It was always something of nothing. The MIIF guy was giving a speech and said they wanted to invest in Atlantic Lithium, so the RNS was put out. They have had plenty of opportunities to invest in the market.

I find the April 4th RNS more interesting in that, there were multiple parties interested at buying the company at 50p. We are now sub 40p, lithium prices are higher, the pound is much lower the DFS is out. Surely those various parties should be thinking about making a bid.

rns 25/5.....can't remember any follow up on this?

"The Company confirms that it was approached by MIIF and has signed a non-disclosure agreement to enter into discussions regarding a potential investment into the Company however no discussions have occurred at this stage.

As previously announced the Company is considering a secondary listing on the ASX.

Further announcements will be made as appropriate.

Plasbryn I think you are missing the "Macro" headwinds picture.....all explained in previous posts.....This will continue.....and offers only buying opportunities at present.....eventually it will turn and perform extremely well. Macro coupled with ASX 58c (34p) is why we are here today.

I'm totally confused as to the performance of this share. The outlook appears cast iron, the fundamentals are now at PFS stage and it has blue chip backing. Is the volatility due to it being too high profile with lots of uniformed traders jumping in and out with any whim. Or is there something i'm missing.

‘According to CGLI Research, the first mined lithium ore from Finniss (Core Lithium's flagship in NT) will be put through online auction for buyers to bid - due to the huge demand. This is probably something I have seen the first time in the commodities market except diamonds’

It seems to be a fair price/limit arbitrage temporary problem mixed with the macro......we all had previously considered this possibilty of 34p ish........Personally I decided to not gamble either way....sometimes it's best to hold a core but also make a bit in trading and leave something for the next guy...in other words trade in the middle.....or maybe that's a cop out for being scared to go ALL the way with instinct.....anyway we will get more "macrohits" and more "buying opps" ....very frustrating for LTAs.....if the indices continue to lose 1% a day...and our peers 3%...who knows.....but we do know it will turn one "sunny" day and we know where we are going......think I suggested this a few months ago...and now we're here. Still holding firm with my core...but will trade opportunities....for fun mainly and adrenaline rush.....lol

But I cannot think of a better share to hold a CORE in through the turmoil....and when the macro turns i'll go ALL the way!

disco Dave 2.4 million shares were traded in Australia. LSE closes at 4:30pm

and I think we closed at 36.5p in the UK.

I'm hoping we get back to 40p tomorrow or at least close.

As ASX trades 9 hours ahead I'm assuming that nothing was actually traded in Oz today (LSE opens 8am ASX would be 5pm and closed)

It has only had 4 hrs of trading, hopefully in 4 weeks we might start to see the benefit of being more accessible to these sophisticated Australian investors.....

Roll on some drill results....

Now that we have used up the ASX listing and PFS

At least the low price should attract the Australians to start buying.

It was always optimistic to believe that the Aussie listing would benefit the UK quote for the simple reason that many junior AIM mining explorers have listed on Canadian and Australian markets before and never derived more than a fleeting benefit. In a world of global 24 hour markets, the logistical merits of having a 'local' listing are not that significant. Its nice though, afterall,Atlantic are an Australian company.Just hope they don't scarper and dump the AIM listing. That said,ALL look very cheap but..... in a bear market, lots of stocks look cheap......largely with the benefit of hindsight.

With the £ falling so much there must be a few companies looking for bargains.
