I think Price Waterhouse stated that there was no prospect of anything being returned to shareholders. I am looking for a reference to it, as it supports any argument you may have that you have made a capital loss this tax year.
If anybody has a web link I would be grateful.
It should be on the CATS web site, but I don't see it.

Yes, I'm afraid it does and I held 10K of these electronically.
If only they were paper, I could at least have saved on the Andrex bill for a while.
There is a protest campaign ongoing about the handling of this business with a meeting arranged for 16th February.

I was notified today that ATN have applied to have administrators appointed.
Shares remain in my portfolio until declared nil value by Inland Revenue.
This may take many months.

I've decided that one should regard ATN as a total loss for CGT. Put it down as loss. If Tax office dont agree they will say so. Pitty I am talking to myself !!!!

HOW LONG must a share be suspended, before we can claim it as a LOSS for CGT purposes ? Phoning my broker, then the Registrars, then Price Waterhouse (Solicitors for ATN) , ALL a waste of time. They all give you another company to phone.

I heard BT is interested in ATN assets. I think ATN's assets in other countries, eg. France and Germany, are more valuable.

Does anyone know what is happening since ATN shares have been suspended; is FSA or any other body investigating the CEO et al as to what happened and why. Was the suspension deliberately manipulated? to deprive share-holders of their investment in favour of a third party! Is all lost and do I just have to suffer it like everyone else has to; is there a share holder lobby/support group to contact. please if anyone knows anything post it on this bb, I like I am sure many others are sitting on huge loss here.
