Asset Management Investment Company PLC announces a correction to details
previously published regarding outstanding options in the AMIC Executive Share
Option Scheme (the "CSOP").  In 2002, the Company purported to grant options
over 565,000 shares pursuant to the CSOP.  The maximum number, which could be
granted at that time, taking into account the rules of all AMIC share option
schemes, was 399,603.  The grant of the excess over that amount is void and this
has been confirmed by persons notionally entitled to such options.



The Company confirms that as a consequence, the number of outstanding options
issued under the CSOP are as follows:
