Good news from Fulcrum and we have nearly 20%.
Very pleased about the royalty, too, in Big bear.
Royalties can be such an asset.

ECR too.
It's a sector thing lookingood I believe.

SOLG ADT1 up as well.

I am pleased and hope it leads to further rises.

'Let the trend be your friend', as they say.

But take care even so, we don't know yet.

'The People’s Bank of China announced that they increased their gold holdings by 0.2% to 72.74 million troy ounces last month, with record-high prices likely discouraging them from heftier purchases. Spot gold went on quite a run during the month, climbing from $2,040 per ounce on March 1 to a new all-time high above $2,265 by March 31.'

So bid rumour? Could we see this test 7p now in the coming weeks. No stock around, yes sellers may come in but only feeding those trying to add or get in. Very exciting times.

I think the Fcm news this morning may be the catalyst Shortarm.
People putting 2 and 2 together possibly.
The thing here is when we get some decent volume it will go ballistic as there is so little stock available.

Gold: The Long-Term Trend Is Up, But The Real Opportunity Now Is In Miners
Seeking Alpha 8th April 2024

SUMMARY

- The recent rally in gold prices is not the result of increased gold ETF flows, contrary to previous rallies.

- The new marginal buyers of gold are central banks and retail customers, especially from emerging countries.

- Gold has found a renewed role in the world monetary system, offering an important form of reserve diversification to central banks.

- Gold could play an even larger role in the emerging multipolar world, as collateral to facilitate transactions outside the SWIFT system.

- While a retracement after the recent rally is possible, a strong allocation to physical gold remains prudent. The real opportunity now is, however, in miners...

Given the usual big spread, you'd be lucky to cover your costs with a 4.25p target

Think "bigger picture"

I can see a JV for Wishbone with the partner funding an extensive campaign or even a bid for the likes of Dotted Lake or perhaps Manitou (assuming they found something).Share price movement most likely a delayed trade.

Setting itself out for a bid? Think this is the time to add and hold. We will see but worth a punt at this low share price First target 4.25p.

have no doubt we will get at least one by May/June, and maybe even a second come August, but beyond that I would be surprised if the data allowed a third. A third cut would likely need to come at the expense of either the equity market or the jobs market, with a material jump in unemployment probably meaning recession. As such, a hawkish repricing at some point this year should be something investors be cautious of as we progress through 2024. If not, having an allocation in one’s portfolio to precious metals ought to serve investors well.

Market has bottomed out this was 15p in 21 and now has plenty going on to take it back to that and beyond. Buying at this level will see some good returns in anyone's portfolio
