O.K. guys - help me out here. What time do the above markets open (gmt)? I tried to work it out but I think I've had too much of the good stuff. If I remember right Japan is 8 hours ahead and therefore opens at 1am, HK- maybe midnight?

Just having a can and relaxing - thought I might see if meltdown continues.

Poor old TechNet really must be cringing by now - starting an annual thread that concentrates on merely going to bed.. I feel a limerick starting there.

My excuse is that from a non-starter I really got into the UK Indicies because CMC traded them and I could get live prices. But it seems trading the Eastern market is a tad more difficult.

Does anybody *actually* trade here, or do you all just try to score "Go-To-Bed" points? :-)

Off to bed myself soon. Interesting night spent trawling LSE equities likely to "benefit" from the USA reaction :-)

Looks like they are about to reduce interest rates to 0% in Japan to get the economy/stockmarket going.
Lets hope Greenie doesnt have to go this far in the States!!
