Don't know, don't much care. I've accepted the market makers improved offer of 0.18p/share and they've taken them all off my hands (slightly surprised actually...I thought they'd reject the trade) Maybe a white knight is to put in an appearance...I hope for those of you still holding (and because Aspinall doesn't deserve to get away with this) that's actually the case.

now someone has bought 1m at 0.2p and bid is 0.18p, what's going on?

.....let's hope it is a reverse takeover. That's what I bought in to this one for. I'll hold my shares and see what happens...if nothing, then i'll settle for 17p.

You get the feeling that news may have leaked that someone has come up with an attractive reverse takeover opportunity that may also be in Damian's interests. I can't see that a cash offer for the company, above 17p, is worthwhile given transaction costs.

JJ - Around 65% which is pretty darned good for 10 months.

As to whats happening - Can Damian Aspinall buy shares in the open market even having made the offer? If he can then perhaps he's being clever. Offer 0.17p initially, knowing hes taking the pish, then put in a big buy order that allows investors to sell at 0.18p. The psychology is that investors will think the 0.18p is a great deal!

Alternatively its some other guy buying cheap cash (DA's offer is now pants) knowing DA will have to put in a higher offer to avoid having a pesky large shareholder on the register. So will DA now up his offer to say 0.2p a share? Lets face facts here people, the current offer is redundant if people can sell out at 0.18p.

Sorry, Justjus, was talking about the 2*2M, thinking it should have been a decimal point making 2.2M times £0.0018 =£3960, (around £4000) and thought you were saying that was only worth £400!.... I'll get my coat and go back to my cave.

Possibly, hp, but what would be the point? He's not going to be able to do much if aspinall has that large a stake.

Viper - isn't my maths right? (£0.0019 - £0.0018) * 4,000,000 = £400!

getting 0.19p instead of 0.18p is a 5% improvement!

I reckon someones noticed the big discount to cash and put in a mammoth (OK relatively speaking!) buy order. He knows it will be filled at 0.18p because most investors will look at anything above 0.17p as a bonus.

Ive a sense of deja vu here. I remmeber selling out of another cash shell (web-angel) after making 80% profit only to see it rise ANOTHER 120%. I can see this moving up towards cash in bank now!

IMHO Wouldnt be surprised to see sharp movement in share price even though a lower bid has been offered - it ain;t over yet....

there must be another or better offer out there for the MMs to be so bold on the bid?
