05/7/2016 14:24 | I just received 2 RNS' for "Price Monitoring Extension" and "Second Price Monitoring Extension". Anyone know what this refers to in Leyman's terms? Assume it is due to the heavy volume? 78M shares have now been bought and the share price is up only 20%. RNS: Price Monitoring Extension The auction call period has been extended in this security by 5 minutes. Auction call extensions give London Stock Exchange electronic order book users a further opportunity to review the prices and sizes of orders entered in an individual security's auction call before the execution occurs. A price monitoring extension is activated when the matching process would have otherwise resulted in an execution price that is a pre-determined percentage above or below the price of the most recent automated execution today. The applicable percentage is set by reference to a security's Millennium Exchange sector. This is set out in the Sector Breakdown tab of the Parameters document at www.londonstockexcha | redtrend

05/7/2016 11:07 | The volume yesterday and today is massive. | tromso1
05/7/2016 09:16 | Think it was 38M odd buys yesterday and only around 1.4M sells. Today it already looks like 13M+ buys and currently no sells. I'm surprised based on all this buying why it's only gone up to 0.525p. Whenever the ordinary punter tries to bid for ASA shares over 1M, most of the time it's very hard to fill the order, yet someone bought 20M shares yesterday in 1 go without moving the share price very much and getting the ask price | redtrend

04/7/2016 17:34 | The fact is this is a company with over £100 m turnover, which can go up as $ is up, gold price and Nickel price in $ terms are up. So logically its turnover, operationally leveraged profit, and its asset in $ terms are well up significantly against £, there is no reason why its price in £ terms should not go up. Hope today's heavy volume is a precursor of good days ahead. | riskvsreward

04/7/2016 11:49 | FINANCIAL RESULTSIncome statementIn line with the reduction in overall output, sales of nickel in concentrate for the year were 6 613 tonnes compared to 7 352 tonnes sold in the prior year, representing a 10% decrease year on year. Turnover achieved from this reduced sales tonnage was US$42.3 million (2015: US$78.9 million). This was a decrease of US$36.6 million (46.4%) when compared to the prior year. The average nickel price realized for the period was US$6 737 per tonne (2015: US$10 855 per tonne). Prices were mainly driven by the market sentiment towards the strength of the United States dollar, the contracting Chinese economy and the fall in crude oil prices. Note: The Company has amended the method of reporting the nickel price received, cash cost and all-in sustaining cost. The average nickel price received reflects the actual price received rather than the average London Metal Exchange (LME) price for the period as previously reported. Cash costs and all-in sustaining costs are now reported as actual costs incurred. Previously these costs were adjusted for the opportunity cost forgone as a result of selling a nickel concentrate rather than a nickel cathode.Cost of sales decreased by 22% to US$33.2 million versus last year's comparative period (US$42.8 million). The decrease was in line with the reduced sales tonnage and cost reduction initiatives. Gross profit declined by 75% from US$36.1 million to US$9.1 million. Operating profit was US$1.8 million compared to US$15.8 million in the prior year. Profit after tax was US$0.65 million versus US$11.2 million recorded in the comparative period last year. This drastic reduction of 94% was attributable to the reduced sales tonnage as well as the fall in nickel prices year on year. | apfindley

Reduced it to 150,000 and got them. Within seconds the spread went to .40-.50p. Looks like the overhang could be over. | skidaddle
