completely different company dorset i thinkm but I am no expert on this plc.

shares14 - I actually agree with you, but the company did not say anything new. According to Mred, everyone knew they were looking for funding.

mred - people were only told about a misunderstanding because that is probably what they thought! They added comments to say that they were still looking for funding, which they were still doing until today!

Is Appain Tech Plc a different Co. (legally wise) than the US Appian Tech Inc in that is the US operation covered by the UK Plc listing.

A no comment or i can not answer that,is far better than to reasure a share holder all is well and the company isn't going bust,which to me is misleading and affecting the judgement of a PI,if i was a long term holder here i would be fuming to say the least.

Corby, That's because when people called the company on that day they were only told about a misunderstanding. But the company also added comments to suggest nothing was wrong.

What I am saying, is that at no point in any post on the afternoon before suspension did any person mention in their conversations with the company that they were looking for funding.

The "Big ramp" was that this was a misunderstanding. hey - maybe the company thought so too initially, not knowing something had leaked.

I wouldn't hold out any hope from the fsa - from what I have seen the company has not misled shareholders.

The first paragraph on its own gives a different story to the whole mail taken in context.

You posted only the first paragraph to back up your story that you had been "stitched up", but the 2nd paragraph points out that they are actively looking for funding.

Pat ryan has been hiding behind a guy called simon who has worked for the company for only 6 months taking all the flack,right up untill today claiming all is well then pull the plug on friday so share holders have all week end to stew,thats real style from a poorly managed company with no foresite what so ever remember these people and stay clear of any companys they are involved in the future.

mred - it is not something you could prove one way or the other, therefore I believe it is true, yes.

I took a c&p of your original posting of that message in 2282 back in early November and you curiously omitted the last paragraph. Why was that?

Was it because you are a typical biased shareholder who has lost out (again) or was it a simple mistake?

Does this bit sound truthful?

The trading was suspended in order to investigate the drop in a share price. According to our management explanation another company with trading name APN from Australia have sold their shares thus the misunderstanding.

Sounds truthful enough to me. Thats exactly what they were trying to do.

I just hope the FSA investigate the directors, there should have been an rns about the state of the company well before any of this happened. Business's don't just go from fine and dandy to bankrupt in a few hours. And if they do it implies total and blinding incompetence/gross negligence from the board.

To be honest Jabba3, nobody likes to lose money and luckily for me what I invested here was a pure gamble and the money I lost here I have gained on shorting the DOW. You should never invest money that you cant afford to lose.

Anyone that DID buy here on PIPER11 Lies could sue him and I would suggest looking into it.

All his posts were logged and I believe ADVFN will supply his details to the right people.
