Posted at 19/9/2019 19:56 by this_is_me It seems seasidehippo has only ever posted on this thread and only been posting this year. That makes me suspicious about his/her real motivations and whether s/he is an insider rather than an investor. |
Posted at 18/9/2019 08:25 by aishah Significant shareholders as of today: |
Posted at 02/7/2019 13:38 by golddigger1 Very disappointed with the pullback although not surprised. Company sell their products very well but seem unconcerned about the share price No new projects listed on the website for some time and non existent financial PR does not exactly spur on would be investors.I firmly believe in APC and will continue to hold but so much more could be achieved by sharpening up on the PR side of things. |
Posted at 02/7/2019 07:59 by seasidehippo For the last couple of days, I can only sell 4000 shares when i try a 'dummy' sell. Although i have no intention of selling i was wondering whether or not other investors are currently experiencing the same issue? or whether i need to consider changing my current online broker (Hafilax sharedealing)? |
Posted at 09/5/2019 18:36 by pj 1 May I be blunt? If you are comparing the now APC with the APC of 10 years ago then I would seriously do some research. This is a turnaround, I suspect Investors of 10 years ago have probably been diluted and will see no positive return for a good while.....(although I have not run the numbers). However, recent Investors.....hopefu |
Posted at 25/2/2019 18:06 by glasshalfull fibs - Pleased to read you received a reply.Personally I think the response reasonable Enrique. As mentioned, I’ve simply factored in the MAX award of £3.4m which equates to a share price of 22p. Therefore to achieve this we are looking at a share price appreciation of over 225% from the current price! I’m a fairly large holder in APC with 2% of the company equity & believe that management totally aligned with investors. Look back over the last few years & you’ll see the support they’ve provided by subscribing for shares at c.6.75p to assist the company transition from a loss making entity. They’ve yet to make a penny on these subscriptions. I certainly don’t begrudge them £3.4m if they deliver over 200% share price growth for myself and other investors here. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards, GHF |
Posted at 24/2/2019 10:01 by glasshalfull Hi FibsReference to your post above: - Fibs 22 Feb '19 - 20:16 - 1159 of 1171 Hi all, An amateur here trying to do it's own analysis on APC. I sent an email last week to investor relationships to see if I could get more clarity but had no answer. - Thanks for sticking your head above the parapet. Pleased to hear that some of my updates have assisted. I post more infrequently on ADVFN as they do not appear to moderate many of the posters & updates you’ll notice on most of the investment threads. Lot of keyboard warriors & armchair CEO’s about! Your LTIP query on the levels of vesting between £9.1m > £40m is a good question. I don’t have the answer. I based my approach on them achieving a m/cap of £40m where they receive a max award of £3.4m shares...as simply put, my investment will be worth several multiples of the level it sits at today. Worth reiterating that management have subscribed for shares in the last few years in the midst of the turnaround when WC tight, so I’m delighted they are aligned with shareholders. I’ve sent a copy of your query off to the Head of Marketing so she can ascertain if the link to the APC investor relations email is working correctly or being monitored. Please update us with the response or if any further issues then I’m more than happy to assist. You could Direct Message (DM) me on Twitter perhaps & leave your email address so I could help facilitate a response? Hope this helps. Kind regards, GHF |
Posted at 22/2/2019 17:20 by insider6 AGM 2019 ReportThe usual perfunctory AGM was followed by a Q & A session that lasted for 2 hours. The BOD’s answered every question thoroughly and confidently and I came away with a very warm feeling that future analyst forecasts would be met or exceeded. APC is not a company known for its liberal attitude to information but after the Q & A session the BOD openly engaged with all attendees giving the impression that they were very comfortable with the direction F19 was taking and extremely confident that forecasts would be met. Richard Hodgson gave his usual polished presentation concerning APC’s strategy going forward and this is now on the APC website for all to see. hxxp://apcplc.com/hi A major part of the open forum was concerned with the share price that has travelled conversely to APC’s profitability over the last 2 years. Since APC have openly forecast revenue to triple over a 5 year period it was a concern to everyone present that further acquisitions would require further fund raising. The Chairman stated that this would not happen unless there was an extraordinary reason and I got the impression that they are as concerned as we are about the depressed share price. So much so that now the findings of the operational review carried out over the last 3 years have been fully implemented attention will be given to improving the level of information given to the market. They will persue increased networking of new institutional investors, increase corporate communication through, RNS, investor magazines, online interviews, investor forums and by looking at paid for research targeted at Private client Investor Managers (PCIM) and Retail investors. They will also work with their stockbroker to develop a specific plan to deal with continuous sellers. This is a major positive deviation from their previous attitude. Exciting times ahead and I sense that there is much to look forward to over the second half of F19. |
Posted at 14/11/2018 11:25 by glasshalfull Morning folks,Courtesy to mention I’ve been adding incrementally over the last few weeks & stopped last week as my holding took me v close to a disclosable stake. High enough for me for the timebeing. However, it appears that the company is coming onto the radar of more investors & I’m pleased to observe higher trading volumes recently. With the flurry of buys yesterday it was good to see a +10% rise in the shareprice & I’d envisage we’ll continue to observe a 2-way pull as new investors buy into the management team & investment case while stale or disillusioned holders take the opportunity created by the increased liquidity to exit. Thanks for posting the update yesterday Rivaldo but just to clarify that “Horndean Eagle” is a fabulous investor & I’m delighted that he has an interest here. One of the most astute investors I know. Sure he was simply highlighting that the news didn’t appear to warrant a +10% rise. Looked to me as if an investor was adding in £5k increments & stock simply dried up. Richard Hodgson, CEO & team will be attending & presenting at Mello Chiswick in less than a fortnight. APC will be at the event on Tuesday 27th November & I’m sure delighted to meet up with investors during the day to answer queries & highlight the strategy moving forward. Look forward to meeting with some of you over the 2-day event. Kind regards, GHF |
Posted at 25/7/2018 12:53 by glasshalfull jailbird - Astonishing posts and part of the reason I post infrequently nowadays. Appears that reposting some of my historic posts is in high demand today! Why don’t you check out my recent posts on RFX thread or my tweets @glasshalfull1 . When I consider negatives or sell out I normally flag as a courtesy to investors. In the case of RFX I posted 3/4 times recently on my concerns and then stepped aside from the thread. I can assure you I am not recruited or employed by any companies and simply a private investor. Quite a few investors will testify to that & I take exception to you questioning my integrity. I have addressed concerns on the balance sheet and invited the company to Mello Derby so that other investors would have access to listen to a presentation by the company and meet with the CEO afterwards. Investor engagement isn’t for everyone but it’s served me well in over 20 years investing. Also don’t consider myself naive & having compounded an investment return close to 2,000% in the last 7 and half years I’m comfortable in my approach. So I reiterate, an investment in APC is not for everyone. The b/s was weak after an extensive restructure but it’s the direction of travel that’s important to me. I make mistakes like everyone else, but I’m especially disappointed in the questioning of my integrity, especially after 15 years positing on these boards where you can easily verify the substance of anything I’ve written. |
