                      Notification of Preliminary Results
                      For the year ended 31 December 2002


On behalf of our client Antonov plc, the developer of a unique and innovative
automatic gearbox, the Antonov AAD transmission, we notify the London Stock
Exchange that the Company will be announcing its Preliminary Results for the
year ended 31 December 2002 on Friday 28 February 2003.
