true but a placing to raise funds for further wells in a discovery area is a good thing. More wells more BOPD, more profit.

You only have to go back to the November rnsAnglo African Oil & Gas plc, an independent oil and gas developer, has received notification from Sandabel Capital L.P. ("Sandabel") that it has exercised conversion rights over the remaining GBP250,000 unsecured loan notes, issued pursuant to the partial drawdown announced on 19 November 2018, at a conversion price of 6.3 pence per share. The company will, therefore, issue Sandabel with 3,968,253 new Ordinary Shares in the capital of the Company (the "New Shares").The Company does not intend to drawdown further on the Sandabel financing facility and is exploring alternative financing options. They got screwed by Sandabel and you can not drill and produce oil on thin air so of course new funds will be required it's hardly rocket science and anyone who has held or traded these in the past twelve months is well aware of it

I've sold after buying at 11p last year and liking the story I was sitting on a 30-40% loss two weeks ago and have now taken a 30% profit only two weeks laterCould have got more if I had held a little longer but fully aware of the need for funds down the line i am happy to sit back and see what transpires Good luck all

I haven't sold. But I'd never knock anyone taking profit.

Read the posts more in-depth before commenting next time

Worth staying in until Monday at least based on 'that' interview imo.

Are they still planning on distributing a large portion of the profits as dividends?

If the news is as intimated and this well and others could be prolific producers, what price then if they are distributing much of the profits via divis..

It is a bit silly. Ahead of news stated as MONDAY. Plus we've already been told that it will be a commercially producing well. You are free to sell if that's your choice.

Findley, you come across as a right tool.

You never read posts. Ever. That's obvious. Now you are knocking some one for selling and taking profits.

Sometimes I wonder if you don't hold and are just a lonely troll

You're going to regret selling.Unless you're saying you've sold because you want to load up before it climbs higher.Thats what a lot of the other guys are saying. Why pay 17p when you can create a story and hope to pay 15p Instead. Haha.

I sold, took my profits.

Why not.........its big profits and its not a profit until you take it.

Will watch now. if it drops far enough back I will buy again. Good luck to all holders holding on.

They might be pump n dumping as they are selling to grab profits. That's their game. However, the Company is definately not a pump n dump.Listen to yesterday's interview, and know that wireline news is coming Monday, and drilling is continuing to the bigger Djeno.Deramp all you want. But this WILL be a producer. No doubt. And do you remember jog.? This is worth far far more, and look what the Pumpers pushed that to, with nothing of what aaog have.Money is staying firmly in here.

Pump and Dump crew all over LSE Twitter and here now.

All new names.

First we had to endure the shorters, now these troglodytes.

While we are all excited, Remember to keep a level head. All that matters is the RNS. Believe nothing here esp share price predictions from new posters
