By Zuena Msuya Mtwara The Minister of Energy, Dr. Medard Kalemani has launched the use of natural gas in vehicles (CNG) of Dangote cement factory company in its journeys instead of using fuel. Dr. Kalemani made the inauguration during his working visit to Mtwara Region to visit the Dangote Factory, inspect the Mtwara Electric Cooling Station and visit the Ntorya Natural Gas Well held on March 5, 2021. He said the factory planned to connect a total of 600 vehicles using natural gas, whereas in the first phase they have already connected 250 vehicles, in the second phase they will connect 350 vehicles. However Dr. Kalemani advised the management of the factory to merge all of its 1000 vehicles using natural gas in its journeys instead of oil. The natural gas processing project at the Dangote plant has cost 21 billion Tanzanian shillings, from the initial stages to its completion. "Gas consumption is cheaper and reduces about 45% of operating costs compared to fuel, it is also non-explosive and environmentally friendly, I urge all motorists, motorcycles, Bajajis and all fire engines to use natural gas in its operation," said Dr. Kalemani. He also said that the use of natural gas in the country, has not yet reached one percent of all gas discovered in the country despite 60% of electricity used in the country due to the gas with more than 57 trillion cubic feet so far. Dr. Kalemani said that, the Government's plan is to distribute natural gas throughout the country and explained that Regions that are not geographically easy to reach will be built large tanks in special centers to store and distribute the gas in various places. The government has begun providing opportunities for private investors to invest in the CNG business, including companies with gas stations that will be able to install gas pumps in their vehicles. More than six (6) companies have already been given permission to continue the business and are in the process of applying for permits from the relevant authorities for the construction of such facilities and doing business selling gears for the use of vehicles in the country. For his part, the Executive Director of the Tanzania Petroleum Corporation (TPDC) Dr. James Mataragio said that, the agency plans to build five major gas distribution stations in the Dar es Salaam Region. This is being rerated very slowly , assets worth at least 6p as they stand , once they start to produce 25/30p is within sight based on what we have in the ground , then there is the new drills to further boost value here ,it's no brainer.

Skin - you know I won't buy Aminex with stolen money let alone my own.It's a pup that is played by day traders to pump and dump It's coming up to year end and the MM's are looking for suckers to help them with their bonuses and some of have helped them outWatch them bleat when it drops back to 0.40 range again over coming days and weeks
